1) in last two months this guy finished Five Scripts. 2) He says "I want to compete with young filmmakers and learn from them". Anurag you say you don't want to mark anything but you are the Mark man.
The interviewer was polite but just could not extract the potential of the guest. She seemed far removed from the reality, almost thrusting her ideas on the guest.
She should stop talking about herself - "its hard to say no for me..blah blah.." dont try to elevate yourself to his level. Your NO is not Anurag's NO. You may do better if you admit that you are talking to a legend who is loved by other legends like Martin Scorsese. Anurag was just being humble and showing his class.
I love to see Anurag Kashyap today with bad health, bad financial conditions, broken marriages, broken homes, bad names, and a bad director with multiple flops at the box office. A bad director with no audience at the box office and a man who has a trail of lies and betrayals. Love to see him suffer. Karma strikes back, and the rock-solid ego has been crushed into a handful of sand...
