1989 was just like yesterday. Back then, the first time listening to Corrine's voice... Enchantingly wonderful. Seeing Corrine's smile... Wonderfully captivating. Holds true till now... Timeless.😎👍✌
I got Swing out Sister 1996 best of album and still listen to it in February of 2024. This is just great music. I still hear their music on the radio in the southern part of the San Joaquin Valley California.
Truly a work of are, a star performer with an excellent humans and singers, enjoyed this very much, I fell in love with this lady after seeing the video of Break Out, without a doubt, a real class act.
@@melvinbennett444 yeah i saw them at the islington town hall about 3 years ago. corinne was looking a bit worse for wear though. however still a fantastic singer.

Great great song indeed! From a southest far country on planet I used to enjoy this song and others from the same, to me, unknown band. Thnking maybe, almost for sure, was Manhattan Transfer 🤣. @@marcusbrown465 The brass section not blowing into their own microphones kind of gives it away...but hey nothing wrong with that. That's the way these type of programs work, nothing against the band's musicianship. BTW, she is stunning in this performance.

Ah que saudade dos bons tempos, musicas, letras, arranjos, músicos que tocam de verdade, e no caso desse vídeo, uma cantora, LINDISSIMA, sexy, carisma total, e obviamente uma linda voz !
It is great to sense the audience was genuinely into the great song that much…though the sudden applause before the fade out was closer to the end seemed a bit premature, but TOTP commonly did that. Super to watch!
When I first heard this timeless song in 1989 it stood out from the standard Pop music of the day. Should have been a massive hit.

Keep listening. I’m looking at 70 soon. S. O. S. is still hot and roiling! Their music emptied the seats and we jammed the dance floors !
I love your take on how their music resonates with scenery (and driving, in general). Their music has always been very cinematic.
I’m still digging all of Swing Out Sisters music!
When music was original and made you feel joy! The 80s ….best decade of music!
