This takes me back to the 80's when my dad would get all the sleds running and every weekend we'd go out riding with a bunch of people from our town Very fun times
Looks like a great show! Well done recording the excitement and diligence of so many who are committed to maintaining such a valuable part of Canadian history. I have never been a sled guy, I have only ridden a dozen or so sleds in my life most of them from the 70's and 80's. This is so cool to see machines from these times. Keep up the good work!
hat looked like such a fun day! wish I was down there in Ontario for this show!thanks to you for filming it and sharing ti with all of us !nothing runs like an old sled...I got a 96 Polaris indy ...wouldnt trade her for the world....tho I do wish I had reverse on it lol
@@draganarc0131 you can check out the Old Hastings Snow Riders Facebook page. Also I’ll try and remind to reply back to this comment when I hear the details for next year.
@ bummed that we missed it. How does one go about finding out about snowmobile shows ,rides, and races in the area? By area, I mean a a couple hundred miles.
If anyone happens to be in the Dorchester area 5miles south on Dorchester Rd there’s a place with about 30 Ski Doos I’d swear starting from the 60s don’t know the details just saying
Well there is a difference when these machines are your main rider. Some were more problematic than others but with proper repairs/inspection they could be very reliable.
Awesome seeing the vintage machines. Thanks for posting
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for taking us along.
@@matthewtaylor1697 any time! Cheers

The good ol’ days! It must have been a blast!
Merc Twister's were so nice . Both Sno-Twister and Trail-Twister.

The cutter on the sno prince is awesome
Yes it really was cool!
What a cool day that would be ! Some nice old sleds .
Thanks for sharing.
Really fun day for sure!
Really enjoyed crossing paths on the trail with y’all, made for fun conversation at the Granite! Hope everyone had a blast and didn’t overheat!
Haha. Awesome times at the Granite! Glad you enjoyed a day of sledding. Some breakdowns for sure 😂 cheers

Thanks! You are right… there is a ton of passion in these vintage sleds! You should look for a mid 70’s diesel snowmobile 😂
@@OneRide Is there such a thing? Lol!
@@adamellis4301custom build 😉

Appreciate that! And yes I understand the no reverse pain! Keep that Indy running strong.
Gave you a sub from Upstate New York
Awesome, thank you! Love that area… lots of vintage collections there!
How do I get details for next year? I’m only 4 hrs away and have 2 Elans a Polaris SS 340 and an alpine. I would love to be a part of the day. Thanks.

Kinda wish I had of went now 😢
Too bad! I guess you have to make it out next year!
Do the sleds need a permit to go on the ride?
I saw some people had permits. I don’t think all had them.

Wish I never SD my 1974 joh deer liquifire or my mercury snow twister 😢
@@Jayjay-ji7ty I hate that feeling. What year sno twister did you have? My next project is a 76 liquid 340 Sno Twister.
@OneRide 1974 340
Crappy hat, lol 😂 😂
😂😂😂 They kicked some a$$ Saturday night!
@@OneRide Now you gotta get a leaf helmet.
@@adamellis4301yes! It will match the sled. 😂
I don't miss this old junk one bit. I wasted so much time fixing this crap when I could have been riding. It all belongs in the landfill.
