I honestly think after hearing some testimony from Vic recently that Nick did scam him. He used a family lawyer who wasn't versed in this topic. That family lawyer goes back to his father. He is a trust fund baby. The trial ruined Vics life afterward and he had to spend even more money to remain afloat. The way Rakieta got angry at Eric compared to how he talks to Dick openly stating he wants to ruin the business points me to believe he is trying his best to cover himself and them. Especially with all the recent stuff of him not feeding, clothing, and giving his one kid cocaine.

I don't know what cash was promised. All I know is Eric set up a deal where you could purchase a book that was to be sent to a charity that gives books to children and vets. I'm an avid book collector. I've got boxes and boxes of hardback, 1st or 2nd edition books from authors that I love. I've got tons of children books hardback, but reprints. Purchasing a book at full price that's to be donated to libraries or children hospitals is very common in the publishing world. There's often an option to do that when you order it or at events. Especially children's books. The publisher's write off the book as a donation on taxes and still get the revenue from the sale. It's not new. Everyone is aware of this. The value/cost of a book declines as it ages until it reaches the age it increases because it's become a classic. Just like a car or anything else. So it's not unusual to see a book that was $50 now being sold on the self 2 or so years later for $5. When you purchase it has no impact on its value later outside print numbers which is what most people care about. Welcome to the literary world.
That's just it. To my knowledge, the donation was the books, so there is no monetary amount to scrutinize. Dick's making accusations over a donation he doesn't even know was cashless, and Nick still doesn't understand the situation after Eric told him it was a donation of books.
@benhmn You repeating this lie over and over doesn't make it true. We know Eric gave the charity $8K after Dick started asking questions because it was publicly announced not only by Eric but the charity as well. Stop lying.
@@thesammyjenkinsexperience4996Haha. I recall watching the stream as Eric discussed making the donations available. The Rippaverse was only FACILITATING the book donations made by the customer by shipping the donated books to the charity ON BEHALF OF THE CUSTOMER. The donating customer could even request a receipt in order to have proof of the amount they (the customer) donated. I was confused as to why the price of the donated books even mattered because of the way it was set up. (Edited to clarify that "they" meant "the customer")
@@theroyalmediator2658 That's what it initially looked like, soliciting book donations. But after Dick started asking questions about the charity Eric suddenly started making cash donations as well.
@thesammyjenkinsexperience4996 So, there were two separate arrangements --actually three is probably more accurate (Eric HAS to have videos on his channel about this). The Rippaverse arranged to facilitate the donation of books by the customers by shipping them to the charity (and obviously having a tab on his website with a donate option also encourages donations). And you might not be aware, but this was inspired by Drunk3po working with the same charity and having a similar option to purchase books that could then be donated. Secondly, the Rippaverse also agreed to send money to the charity (separate from the donated books). Lastly, they agreed to donate x amount of funds to the charity for each book sold (I believe it was for books sold during the Isom 2 campaign, but I'd have to check). (Edited "3p0" to "3po")
Dicks admittance of saying he actually did that to ruin or mess with Erics business because he doesnt like tge comic and the current event of Riley appearing at one of the Rippaverse buildings at 11 at night after driving several states with Dick being tied to the email and Riley....... then you have Nicl trying to cover for the the bearded thumb with a hat and glasses and Dick. This is getting more and more complex by the nanosecond.
Why can't Dick understand that his opinion about Isom doesn't matter as long as Eric's customers are happy with their purchase? Why does Dick care so much about how other people choose to spend their money? It makes zero sense.
Like Samson from the Bible, Eric’s abilities derive from his (shoulder) hair. As it grows, Eric becomes less articulate and uses far more derogatory language. Why did Isom leave the City? His Greatest Nemesis…The Shoulder Shaver! The Shoulder Shaver is a fat slob that trespasses in publicly accessible parking lots, some say he pinned Isom down after being caught putting easily removable stickers from a business centre.

I was a fan of sorts of Nick at the beginning. But this clip just ruined that. How can adults question what people make? How can Nick just let him speculate and say awful things with zero evidence without really shutting him down?
What is Dick at, the fact Eric is successful or that people are willing to buy from him ? It doesn't matter whether ISOM is great or just decent/good, he has fans willing to pay for that product, they wanna support him no matter what, even if an issue turns out to be sub-average. All this hate and fighting vs Eric is VERY suspicious......... Dick does his name justice - whatta DICK !!!!!!!!!
Also to add, just listening to the beginning of this video Nick lied or, at minimum, stretched the truth about telling Eric that he talked to Dick about this issue.
How is it Dick's business what July does with his money? You don't like July or his comics; that much is obvious. But just because you got some personal problem - doesn't mean anything at all. It's your personal preference that you don't like the product July is making. Other people are paying for it. That's all that really matters in the end.
I don't get it, I lost the plot the moment he called something bad art. " I have seen bad art and the comics Eric is making, is definitely higher than the modern average. Also, I find it weird for people trying to cancel someone else for a price tag that they object to, instead of making something better then. If the statement is true, Rippaverse is gonna die out because of "bad art".
There's ZERO reason for Nick to cross examine Dick like this if he's anywhere near as bad as people say. CERTAINLY not to ask him over and over again about trying to ruin Eric's business. Nick knew he was wrong and he's trying to clean it up. Edit: Okay, now I get it. I understand why Nick is acting so weird. Dick f-ed up. He could get sued for actual malice. Nick knows this. Why doesn’t dick go after Nick for that as well? Nick brags about how often they give to charities. He supposedly was always going to charity events. So why isn’t detective dick on that?
Also, really starting to look like dick has something on Nick.
Has Dick ever tried to get publicity from donations to a charity from a product he has the sole ownership of. I agree if he has in the past then yes.

It doesn't matter whether ISOM is great or just decent/good, he has fans willing to pay for that product, they wanna support him no matter what, even if an issue turns out to be sub-average. All this hate and fighting vs Eric is VERY suspicious.........
Dick does his name justice - whatta DICK !!!!!!!!!
Also to add, just listening to the beginning of this video Nick lied or, at minimum, stretched the truth about telling Eric that he talked to Dick about this issue.
Hey Dick where did the 30k go for the heal stream? You and Ethan divided it up and laughed all teh way to the bank.
"I don't know what this is, brother." - Sam Hyde on Ralph's stream at the absolute apex of his popularity. Dick might still be laughing.
Eric won.
Blessed are the clippers, for they shall inherit the sektur.
How is it Dick's business what July does with his money?
You don't like July or his comics; that much is obvious. But just because you got some personal problem - doesn't mean anything at all.
It's your personal preference that you don't like the product July is making. Other people are paying for it. That's all that really matters in the end.
Juju is such a hero fighting these evil comic book grifters!
This is embarrassing.
Hey Dax, what happened to New Project 2?
There's ZERO reason for Nick to cross examine Dick like this if he's anywhere near as bad as people say. CERTAINLY not to ask him over and over again about trying to ruin Eric's business. Nick knew he was wrong and he's trying to clean it up.
Edit: Okay, now I get it. I understand why Nick is acting so weird. Dick f-ed up. He could get sued for actual malice. Nick knows this. Nick is protecting Dick. So Nick's arguments both on twitter and on stream have been weird and very lawyer-like.
"Sued for actual malice."
Ummm. Actual malice is an element of some crime's or torts.
It isn't a crime in and of itself..
@@markgado8782 The best part of that is you might not need to prove actual malice. I'd be shocked if a court declared Eric a public figure.

When I saw how much Nick was day drinking I knew he was starting a downward spiral arc and stopped watching his stuff just after the Depp trial. Now I check in to see what's going on with him and it's way worse than I could have ever imagined.
All this situation in one sentence : 13:25. Everything else is just pretend. That's so cringe.
So he admitted it to Nick's face?
"Are you trying to destroy his business?"
"Yes"
Seems like it.
@@SmartBomb117 The reason Eric was mad at Nick was because Nick kept saying that there was no evidence Dick wanted his business destroyed.
@@Strictly_Jake Okay, I'm pointing out that Dick said it, unambiguously.
@@SmartBomb117 thanks bro
This comes across so badly on SO many levels. Sticking with *only* the structure, it seems like they set this up ahead of time, as a kind of “chaff/redirect”…that Dick STILL managed to turn into yet another dumpster-fire. Of the *many* issues THAT brought, sure seems like several are _significantly_ legally actionable…
Vito should sell his comics to charity for $20 and keep $15 for “Labor”
Nick deleted this stream, hes a coward
The blood alcohol level of this stream is well over the legal limit
😂
No it's two gas tanks and a meth factory
Nick actually sounds sober for once
He said “I’m more drunk now… “ in this clip lol
The funny part is Nick was drunk af at this point. He had been drinking for three hours before Dick came on the show 😆
It amazes me how well Nick can construct arguments when he’s drunk.
This started because someone said someone else sucked at making comics.
It's easy, don't let people like Dax be the judge of your actions, he will never be pleased because he is a bad actor. It's Eric's fault for giving too much attention to him. It's clear that Eric has a lot of organizational problems but all this drama was unnecessary.
Rekieta will eventually pay the toll of trying to be a centrist or siding with the bad actor if is not already paying it since he delete the source video.
Give him too much attention too him? Unless you’ve been living under a rock it’s more of Eric has been focused on his business he would only respond if and win some dumb ass decides to open their mouth on Twitter trying to say something negative about his business while he’s out here promoting his work you know how hard it Hass to be in order to promote your work and you know update people on what’s going on with your life and everything that’s happening in it when you have a psychopath who makes it clear he’s trying to take you down along with other psychopaths who don’t like you because reasons.
No. Yeah.
🤨🤔
Guessing most in comments have never seen a pure chaos agent before…
Dick better wear that amulet it's only fair he's the one that wanted him to groom Nick Rekieta into being a comedian it's only fair that he gets a taste of his own medicine.
Such female traits i see here
tear out your hair plugs, juju. Eric's fine. Comics are at least $3.99 starting out.
I just realized, Reekeita is the new VonHelton
Doin the lord's work again, girl
If the purchasers are buying extra copies to donate to charity and eric uses other peoples donations as a tax write off that is tax fraud
Whoops.
Why is Dick called "JuJu"? I'm sorry, I don't follow the Shart-Nerd culture but it sounds stupid. lol
That is his name. He is JuJu the cow. 🐮 He dresses up as JuJu the cow while servicing his girl.
It's from an email that Dick's gf sent to someone. In said email, she described how Dick found it sexually satisfying to dress up as a cow named JuJu and get fucked in the ass with a strap-on
LMAO@@Numb217
@@brotherbaha9169danggit..I can't unsee that🙈🙊
Juju the cow likes to be inseminated like the cattle he is.
this man is old and should be more concerned about his takes on minors and sex. He's clearly jealous of Eric's success. I don't like Eric but this is evil ti do to someone. Disavowing people is wrong, but the company you keep is a reflection of your self, Nick.

Imagine hating a black man that much to want to ruin his business, lolol
I love the tribalism of human nature. "I like person A, I hate person B"......the reality is, I hate both of them. Dick is obnoxious and unfunny, while Eric is boring AF and I'll never buy his comic.
