Hi OMC : I posted some interesting stuff about the Olds that not many know about. Like HotRod Magazine did a full mag on Oldsmobile and I was in the Burbank district of OCofA. I’m going to dig out that mag it’s very interesting like the first Elephant was the olds
This is an added comment to the first. The reason why the motors were killed was because of the 1970 smog laws, and I would have to say sadly thank God this motor never hit the streets. There would’ve been a lot of dead people out there. The motors made so much power at the technology and the suspension was not there yet to support such massive torque and power hitting the streets, but being an Olsonville fanatic I wish I had one
I liked seeing the four door sedans because they were so commonplace back then and no one of my generation wanted them as their first car because that's what your father drove When was the last time you saw a 71 g m a body 4-door hardtop
So true. My father‘s first car was a 55 Pontiac Chieftain. It was a four-door and he always wanted a 2 door as a teenager. Now in his 70s, he had the opportunity to buy a 55 Pontiac and he found a four door Star Chief which is just perfect for the grandkids!
High quality videos with good content. Keep em coming 👍
Tell us your favorite vehicle of the video! I have to say the Olds Cutlass Hemi was pretty cool...but the Batmobile was pretty sweet too!!!
