This is what was the imam reciting from chapter in the Qur’an called Al-An'am" The Animals"
Chapter Al-An'am 6:148 " The Animals"
{ كَذَٰلِكَ كَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ حَتَّىٰ ذَاقُوا۟ بَأْسَنَاۗ قُلْ هَلْ عِندَكُم مِّنْ عِلْمٍ فَتُخْرِجُوهُ لَنَآۖ إِن تَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا ٱلظَّنَّ وَإِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا تَخْرُصُونَ }
English Translation
" Likewise did those before deny until they tasted Our punishment. Say, "Do you have any knowledge that you can produce for us? You follow not except assumption, and you are not but misjudging."
Chapter Al-An'am 6:149 " The Animals"
{ قُلْ فَلِلَّهِ ٱلْحُجَّةُ ٱلْبَٰلِغَةُۖ فَلَوْ شَآءَ لَهَدَىٰكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ}
English Translation
{ Say, "With Allah is the far-reaching [i.e., conclusive] argument. If He had willed, He would have guided you all."}

its a massage for world to pay attention the chapter recited by Imam, when the cat kissed is chapter 6 al an'am (the cattle) qul falillahi hujjatul baligha ... (that is Allah who has hujjah/ perfect argument and if Allah will, He will guide you and make you All as believers. The title of surah is kind of animal and the verse is about signs, who had accused Allah who has made them like that as unbelievers, while Allah answer that Allah has been showing many signs all the time, but unbelievers didn't want to think and always argue/refuse the signs
Birds are so easily trained and calm once they are trained, cats however are extremely moody and unpredictable and are more interested in their own needs.
Cats do not do this to any random person, one does not bring pets nor own pets in mosques, they are stray cats which makes this even more phenomenal.
Cats are a special animal to the muslims, so is every creature, but this cat admired this Imam's recitation. It is also known that cats do not like loud noises so it is quite apparent that this cat was charmed bt the words of the quran and recitations of the imam.
What's even more charming, he was focused but also protecting the cat from falling, he petted the cat to show affection.

Most of us are just looking at the interaction between the imam and the cat but not paying attention to the verses the imam was reciting. I think the message from the verses was crystal clear evidence
