Well, for each helmet, they need an actual sample of the helmet to get the dimensions right, and they probably don't actually get that many sales for each model. That's really al that you're paying for. $35 is still a lot which is why I went for the other version of the Motorrads mount.

Yea I agree, but if motorrads mount works that well, it seems like they’re just selling a custom option so they can sell it for more price, I used to design stuff and 3d print, it’s not that hard, probably takes a day max per helmet if they have a team working on it, and if it’s $35 that’s fine, but it ain’t even stick properly so what’s the point, in my eyes motorrads is cheaper, better, comes with an extension mount as well, and they gave me skittles 👀
