Um, excuse me....Kindly do just a few seconds of research to check out the damage caused in different areas, such as the Caribbean islands like Barbuda, St. Martin, St. Croix and Antigua which were DEVASTATED due to this storm. Irma did not do extensive damage to Florida since it was a weaker storm than when it was ploughing through the Caribbean, but it still caused a lot of flooding and some structural damage to places like Key West.
As someone who went through two terrible hurricanes BACK-TO-BACK (Frances and Jeanne in 04), I would kindly ask all of you who are shrugging this off as 'no big deal' to take MANY SEATS and silence yourself. Your ignorance is shining at an alarming level and it really doesn't look appealing at all
I try not to let those trolls' comments affect me. they obviously have never been through a hurricane. I've lived in florida for 29 years, through countless storms, including andrew. these people find humor in other people's misfortune because they have nothing interesting or worthy going on in their lives.

To the people saying it didint do damage I live in Tampa and when irma came power got out loud noises and scary winds flooding trees falling parts of houses destroyed it was scary we didint have any electricity for days no ac no stove to cook no stores were open food in the fridge got stale since power was out all we had was water and a pack of energy bars you call that no damage?

How does a time lapse work?
It is basically a camera put in one place set to record for a long period of time then after the desired time is up you take the video edit and speed it up and there you go a time lapse, hope this helps 😊

If you put the speed of the video on 0.25 and look at the bridge (in the dark) at 1:04 and then keep stopping the video to get the correct frame, you can see the purple light coming from the right and then over the bridge to where it ends up. It looks like some sort of police car or something.

I was in irma I live in florida where the high wind warning took place they are still fixing my house to this day and i found many devastated items like large oak trees flooded streets and dead animals it wasn't that powerful because most of its force was used to destroy the carribean and Porte reco *sorry for my bad spelling* so don't joke about this because it was very serious for us Floridians and carribean and Puerto Ricans

kiltio123 Welcome to Hurricanes 101. Where you learn the basics. The things Floridians know because of living here your whole life.
LESSON 1. The Caribbean will be devastated when a hurricane comes and hits them. They are the FIRST line of defense against these storms. They will ALWAYS receive immense damage due to being the first in line. So when people say it wasn't as bad as it could have been they are 100% correct. Those islands will always be devastated. That's the norm. That's just what is...
LESSON 2. We talk shit about every Hurricane that isn't Andrew. And we even talk shit about him too, it's what we do to cope with the fact that we on the regular get 2s and 3s like they were nothing. Three i belive in a 2 year time frame. Two of those landing in basically the same point on the coast. We know damage. We've been devastated. So yes we will continue to talk shit and talk it down because it's not as bad as we've got it before. Honestly if a hurricane isn't a Cat 3 I don't pay attention to it. And even then I wait till its a Cat 4 to actually worry.
LESSON 3. It will always be better off hitting here than any other state. Why? Cause they don't plan for them, build for them, or even think about them till its to late. Fuck NY, Fuck NO, Houston gets a pass because they hadn't experienced something like that. New York has, and did NOTHING to plan for another. New Orleans did even less somehow... it's amazing I know but they managed to almost make it worse. Fuck em. TWICE.
In closing.
It wasn't as bad as it could have been. Had it took another course or hit some state that's never ready for an actual storm like we experience on the regular. Then uea it would have been another sandy, katrina, ect.

I was one of the hurricane irma victims and my house got really destroyed and so did my whole neighborhood and power streams exploded and my house caught on fire and we had to evacuate my house in the middle of hurricane irma....that was the scariest day of my life..1 like for me is one prayer for me
