Very good concept. The build up of emotion was remarkable. The period of delaying a proposal in the fear of rejection is definitely the most painful period in everyone's life, but to some extent it is definitely unavoidable, at least to classify the thought of general attraction and genuine feeling of love, as no matter how much ever one thinks he/she knows him/herself there is always a surprise waiting from the way your thought process works. So, that period is unavoidable and should be kept to optimum level, there is no defined magnitude in there, but a consistent cosy feeling when you watch your to be partner. Once clear, be brave to propose. This entire feeling has been very well demonstrated in the movie. Once successful, the waiting period turns out as one of the memories to share between the couple. Emotionally well shot. But by nature, the girls if they like the boy will give a lot of hints and signals which the mature boy can respond to. But the girls normally don't give in easy. That is where courting comes in. If the boy really loves her he has pursue/court her. When he is really assured of positive reply he has to propose. If a girl proposes she normally loses her standing.
