Question, Do you know how I can use My Asus RT AX88U router running Merlin to block a specific computer on my network from accessing a specific website? I don’t want to prevent all computers on my network from accessing the specific website. I’m only interested in preventing the one computer? Would appreciate any Information you give me.

Hi, do You know if asus router have a number of hours per day limitation ?
I set time limits for a phone in our house but that phone is still getting internet access from the router regardless. Any idea what the issue might be? Thanks:)
In the time scheduling section, make sure the correct mac address of the device is selected and also the time frame you selected is correct too. You can also try to disable the NAT acceleration for more precise scheduling. I just tested it on one of my devices and it worked very accurately. Good luck!

i use a mix of OpenDns with a script on my RT68P router that enforces SafeSearch on Google and Bing for everyone connected to the router... this is handy because image searches are not filtered by parental controls.
So I use OpenDns to block porn sites and block other search engines..only allow Google and Bing :) which are filtered, even images. - well, it blocks pornographic images...not all images.

I have a Asus RT-AC5300 with Merlin and I've been trying to block any game app, game on websites etc on my nephews Chromebook but everyday he is still able to play games,
So wth is going on how is he able to still play games when I'm telling the router to block Games on my nephews Chromebook???

What loss of performance could I expect when using one router on another? I do not use for gaming. Only for watch videos and teleconferences.
If the second router is used as an Access Point, there isn't that much loss, however as a repeater the speed is usually halved for the devices connected to the repeater. Thanks.

@@grzegorz16100 you go to device, there you go to wifi, read the mac address and go to the Asus internet to check if there are any devices with that same mac address, or you can just add the mac address if there isn't any device with the mac address
