Coming from an asian family as well nd i can so feel the pain! Omg! What am i gonna do with these family consipracies? Ahha And well, i finished all of my exams and yr 12 knowing that yep, i did well ( although i'm not really a type of person who likes studying for exams, but rather put my learning into perspective not on paper) i hope for the best! I suck at maths too! But i love languages and that kept me going! This video really clarified about the atar and really helped me to think postive and stay happy because i've come a long way! Haha thanks for everything! Keep posting videos! You totally deserve a thumbs up! Peace!
HOLLA everyone! This is my take on the highly anticipated, dreaded, pressure-inducing, inspiring 'ATAR' score (please see fit whichever adjective best applies to you). Hopefully I have alleviated common misunderstandings and doubts - how do you view the ATAR score? :)
@@AliAli-sv3qvtry to get a high score (it will save you alot of headaches) but don't stress yourself out, cuz there's so many other ways to get into uni.
it doesnt make any sense as of being an atar. i mean seriously if unis need money to strengthen their funding, they can just accept anyone inside no matter who they are. it's not like as if they see students living in poor families receive like 90 atar or something vs students in rich families who receive a 55 atar or something. it makes absolutely no sense!!
They have an ATAR cut off because there is a limited amount of people they can take, which as a result you would be more successful at the degree if you were over the cut off than under it. The ATAR tells you what courses you can go into because others want to be in that course too.
What a load of crap, some places still look at your ATAR/GPA. It shows how diligent you were as a student and how much effort you put into your education... not sure what you're on about lol. Also some people go through hell to achieve a certain ATAR and not sure why you'd role your eyes if someone said it...Its something to be proud of not ashamed of.
Not too sure if you go my point either. I'm very proud of my ATAR and I worked incredibly hard to get it. The message of this video is that if you don't get an ATAR you're happy with, it's not the end of the world and you don't have to punish yourself. Many opportunities still await you. Ask anyone who has graduated with an ATAR!
My left ear enjoyed this.
I only had my right ear in and was confused af
