I have a 6 year old and definitely understand the risk. Truly it was a death chamber with extreme precautions taken. But guess what? Since that time I have had 53 nose swabs and each time I was negative! I can assure you and am willing to admit to you I did not have an N-95 mask on a fair amount of the time due to my asthma. Imagine that??! Not even one positive result without symptoms. Huh. I mean talk about the luck right? So I simply say to you take heed and don't believe a government who's proven time and time again that it loves to lie to as well as manipulate it's citizens. What does reporting cases and deaths actually achieve, besides causing fear and panic?
If the data is used in proper context (as opposed to your point of scaring people) it can be a very useful tool in determining what does or does not work to tackle this problem. Of course the "if it bleeds, it leads" MSM (and the control freak politicians) prefer the fear part.

actually they CAN determine what variant it is..and they can identify precisely where the differences are. They can sequence genomes remarkably fast now. We just don't do enough sequencing..only approximately 1% overall. Half of what other countries are doing. DeSantis is full of shit. He doesn't have a clue, and is talking out of his ass. He also doesn't mention the lamda variant which is worse than the delta, and can infect those that are fully vaccinated. There are at least 13 known variants in the US.

Don't be a dummy. Of course they test for delta. It's not every sample that gets delta tested. It's random. So it's logical that random delta positive tests are just a fraction.
