Yeah I love it. Each city and place in Egypt is similar yet so different from one another. I love the vibes in Alexandria, it's romantic. The sea, the little streets and beautiful buildings, the pretty little cafes and all the patisseries....if I wasn't living in Cairo, I would live in Alexandria.

I love all the influences it has from the Greeks, Armenians and Italians. The food is incredible, the history is rich. It has great vibes ❤️ Sadly, the Serapeum video isn't good at all. I'm still going to upload it, but there isn't much to see there, and because I'm not allowed to bring my action cameras in, I couldn't vlog, only film with my mobile. The editing program I use does nothing for the wind removal without making me sounds like a tin robot, so unfortunately when there's wind the audio is shite. Oh yeah, this is the street leading from the train station towards the sea. Currently under renovation of the buildings. You can see how Alexandria is regaining its former glory

Haha, thanks Biz! Unfortunately, I have not found scooters or motorcycles for rent in Egypt...it seems because not many tourists want to drive here, there isn't a big market for it. No demand, no supply. However, you can always take Uber motorcycle taxis around the city. That's what I always did before I bought my own motorcycle here. Next best option 😅

I skipped one that nobody stops at, the light had just changed, and the road doesn't even go through. Don't focus on the one light like I am doing that all the time.

Honestly I would save Luxor for another time, it's kind of far and there's too much to see there. But you could go to Alexandria for 2 nights or something, if you felt like it. It's only a 4 hour bus ride from Cairo, and it's beautiful. Lots of good food and some history there as well. Just nice vibes

I skipped one that nobody stops at, the light had just changed, and the road doesn't even go through. Don't focus on the one light like I am doing that all the time.
2 weeks tomorrow until I arrive in Cairo. I’ll be on my own. Do you think I should do day trips and visit Alexandria/luxor etc while in Egypt. I’m there for 6 days.
Honestly I would save Luxor for another time, it's kind of far and there's too much to see there. But you could go to Alexandria for 2 nights or something, if you felt like it. It's only a 4 hour bus ride from Cairo, and it's beautiful. Lots of good food and some history there as well. Just nice vibes

And keep hydrated
If you are in winter begin from south Aswan Luxor, then Cairo and Alexandria
You can by the sim card from anywhere don’t worry about that
