Wow, those are awesome... Glad you are back and recovered! I didn't even think up putting my camera on the tri-pod that way...brilliant! A weekend project awaits!
Good luck with your recovery, Stewart. Have watched two of my granddaughters go through that surgery. It takes a while, but I am sure you will do well.
Really liked the final footage. You got some tremendous abstract results and, of course, each frame will be unique. Glad you're feeling better too. Nice one.
Really cool video. Probably answered elsewhere, ( could not see on your kit list) but what model is the tripod?? Neewer?? Looks handy to be able to flip camera like that.
Ahhh Stewart, those bloopers, the joy of making videos ;-) Ideal for these cold winter days, have you tried illuminating from below? Also if you download the Canon software you can tether your camera and control it remotely using the mouse, might be useful. Wonderful results matey and glad your getting better.
Stewart, Do you still have those 32k Earth and cloud maps from the good ol days? If so, could you send them to me? I would be grateful. keep up the great work.
That's OK it was worth a try, do you remember where you found them, perhaps I could get them from there. Also. very cool vids, a clever way for photographers to hone their skill during the winter months and explore new paths for their craft - well done ! ! !
Do you pull the yellow oil color out in post? I can not figure out how to get beautiful "balls/color droplets" floating on beautiful white milk without the yellowish oil tainting the frame.
You can see the final results here (Little Worlds): th-cam.com/video/waIqQf7GjV8/w-d-xo.html

Hi Stewart on the off chance you see this - the shot at 13.40 is beautiful any idea how you did it?!?
Really cool video.
Probably answered elsewhere, ( could not see on your kit list) but what model is the tripod?? Neewer?? Looks handy to be able to flip camera like that.
It is a Neewer carbon fiber tripod.

Nebulae, exploding stars, gaseous clouds, stars, black holes, island universes, comets, galaxies .... get these to NASA quickly!
Amazing! Which camera settings did you have used for the soap film video? I have tried to film but didn’t get a good result! Thanks
I'll have to check but the info should be in the video.

Wow , just amazing video work. I think EOS RPs 1.7x crop making it even easy to take such shots😁😁😂.
Thank you.
Hey Stewart how did you mix your paints in this video? Thank you I loved the video and the final results!
Stewart, what is your tripod? It it very heavy? I can’t invert mine easily and the buttons are very stiff. Time to look for a new one!
Stewart, Do you still have those 32k Earth and cloud maps from the good ol days? If so, could you send them to me? I would be grateful.
