Brian is so good at being the 'spokesperson' so to say for the band. You can tell he loves to just sit and BS with anyone and he's a great storyteller. It is ten times better with Angus laughing his ass off beside him. Contagious to the point you find yourself laughing like him after a while.
I answered the phone for room service at a high end hotel in Little Rock, Arkansas. A raspy voiced guy placed an order and asked if I was going to the show. He said he'd be the short guy singing in the middle. Love this guy.
Had the privilege of doing just that back in October... yes he is funny and a great storyteller... he did all the talking... a real gentleman... OMG the stories, we were drinking Boddington Ale, something I will never forget... just lucky timing... he stopped in to check on a waitress who was very sick, he saw there was nobody at the bar and asked my wife and I if we wanted to try the best beer in the world... you bet your ass I do!! he is just a GREAT guy. Hope to see him again
@@kgunitkeese17 Yeah I still can't believe I got the chance to do that...I can't stress enough what a great guy he is... he talked to you like he was your best friend... we mostly talked cars and food... not much about the band... it was so Surreal... this guy has entertained millions of people all over the world, telling me he just had dinner with Mark Knopfler and Keith Richards in London...and now he's sitting with me and my wife having a beer...IT WAS AWESOME Again just lucky timing...

It was something I'll never forget, he's a great guy... loves to tell stories... and I loved listening... honestly didn't talk about the band much, maybe that's why he stayed so long with us... a little bit about Malcolm... and all he said was... he stood behind me for 36 years... mostly cars and food believe it or not... of course he's been to restaurants all over the world... but I tried to keep up👍
