Solid gameplay overall, but, you know, the one thing that really stood out to me was the lack of free shipping in this video. Like, I kept waiting for the queen to move and for the shipping confirmation to pop up, but instead, the bishops were just out there messing about with no tracking number in sight. I mean, it would’ve been nice if at least the knights offered some free delivery, but I guess we’re all paying for express postage when the pawns do their thing. Honestly, if shipping were free, this whole game would’ve taken things to the next level, no question.
Ooh I saw that one live !!!! That was amazing ! Never resign !!! Opening was great ! Being better with black that early was great! Move 13, I would only take if I'm forced to, because your e5 pawn is the one controlling the center for you, and trading it off just surrenders the center and makes it harder to play. Also white has great control d5 so you are not getting d5 in anytime soon... Move 17 Nf4 is not easy at all imo because it does nothing immediatly. Rad8 is way more natural. The idea of Nf4 is to prevent white's queen from retreating to the kingside (knight phisically blocks the queen from going to g3), so after Rad8 next it has to go the queenside where it's very missplaced and you can attack easily when the queen is not defending. Move 19. e5 was a very nice find by white, freeing the e4 square for the fork, while your queen can't take e5 because it has to defend the knight. You blundered the fork, it happens to all, and as you realised, everything is falling appart for you ! Even Qd8 to defend the rook and lose only an exchange does not work because your knight is also hanging... Sometimes when you overlook something it's still fine, sometimes it's dead dead lost like here. It's part of the game ! Then I like very much the way you kept playing, always try to make it as difficult as possible for your opponents ! Of course he had many ways to win, he had so many pieces controlling so many squares. Then I love how 29.e4 was the best move (you played it!!) and not Rf1 because rn Rf1 Rxh6 is just M2 for white. e4 block the bishop from seeing h7 !!! Then Rf1 was the come back moment ! Hmmm the reasoning behind not taking on move 13 is very reasonable, I'll try to keep this in mind for the future!
