tdub1941: Actually, these Ian Whitcomb videos were sent to me by the artist. He permitted me to present them here. I simply did the conversion from the DVD format to .avi, added titles, and wrote the comments. This DVD is available at the website given in my comment field --and to play it on your computer is amazing--virtually high-def! This particular DVD has an amazing quantity of songs, and there are publicity stills, commentaries by Ian, and even some of his sheet music. The flip side is CD.
LeeGrasswalker: Ian had a couple of minor pop hits in the mid-1960s, and he was acquainted with most of the British artists of that day. By 1967, however, he was devoted to performing classic songs of the early 20th century, and now he's one of the world's foremost musicologists of early English music hall and ragtime. His Grammy was awarded in 1998 for his consultation work on the film, "Titanic", with the shipboard scenes of the passengers in steerage, who sang and danced old music hall stuff.
Wonderful!!!! So great!!!! Special nice!!! Thanks for this wonderful video. I share with all my Friends in Facebook, Twitter, i google and youtube Friends!!!
NaturalTwentyFilms: We Americans always associate accordion with polka. Accordion belongs to several music traditions: Argentine tango, French cafe music, Mexican ranchera. Your info from Finland is very interesting. Accordion is to many people who could not afford a piano, their instrument of choice.
romapsychic: Ian Whitcomb is an Internet friend, who has given me permission to upload his video work (I don't perform with him). He performs mostly in Southern California, but he does travel. I'll be happy to put you in touch with him. --Bob
tdub1941: You ain't seen nuthin' yet! I'll be starting my own performance videos soon! And yes, I upgraded my camera from the Hi-8 analog you see on the RSJO videos, to digital.
singalotme: My site is right here. If you need more info on buying Ian Whitcomb's videos, e-mail me at Bobchai on TH-cam, and I'll furnish you the information. Thanks for watching! Thrilled to have you as a friend!

pili2255: Gracias, Gaby. Thank you for all of your interest. What concerns me is your mom, how is she doing? She sent me a very nice e-mail 2 months ago, and desgraciadamente I didn't have time to give her a full reply. Please tell her she is in our prayers. God bless you, and I hope your career is the best!
