The Vernon card from 16:40 is a lucky draw! It's from Powerstation. But yeah, the material they used feels so strange; it's a super thin plastic I think? When I went to that lucky draw I was so confused when they handed me my cards.

Ok so I bought two IM NAYEON albums and one of them didn’t have PCs😭😭 so I was upset. I wondered if it was normal and saw you also got yours at target so I am so confused why I didn’t get any. I only got pcs in one. Still, love your videos and how they set an example of us loosing our sanity😭🤍🤍

Not sure why my comment was deleted since all it was about was Buyee's fees, which as a sponsor and someone advertising a service to your audience, you should be disclosing anyway. But I'm going to go ahead and share it again and if it gets deleted one more time, I guess I'll know that the first time wasn't an accident and that you're intentionally trying to hide details of Buyee's service which reflects horribly on you.

To any new/regular collectors who don't have Buyee sponsoring their purchases: if you're thinking of using the site after seeing these big collectors and their hauls, it's important to know that Buyee charges a 500 yen service fee per order (that's almost $4). As well as that, if you want to consolidate your package (basically put all your items into one box so that you only pay shipping once), and you have more than THREE items, you have to pay another $10. And then of course shipping is within $30 to $40 or even more, and depending on where you are, you have to pay customs as well. There are a LOT of fees to keep track of when using this site and collectors who get their stuff paid for don't stress on these fees enough, or like in 8raddy's case, don't mention them at all! Buyee becomes not affordable very quickly and though unfortunately Neokyo can't offer Mercari or lowered parcel values anymore, its fees are notably cheaper and you can find a bunch of great items on Rakuma/Fril.
As someone who frequently buys from Buyee, I want to comment on this. Yes, Buyee does have a lot of fees. But prices for a lot of these cards are way cheaper on Buyee, with the fee included, than for instance on Instagram. When buying from a proxy, you need to compare the overall price with what you would pay from somewhere else. Say that a set of 6 Vernon album cards are $10 with fee included, but if you buy them seperately, for example on instagram, they might be $5 each, plus shipping. Single cards may be worth it if they are way cheaper than other places. Also, comparing if you buy albums from for example ktown4u, you still need to pay a lot of shipping for a few albums, and maybe also customs. Then extra cost if you need to trade. Buying from any proxy, or from any other site, it all comes down to where you think you will save most money for your collection. And no, I am not sponsored.
@@andicollects I agree and to add I've bought from both mercari and rakuma and rakuma atleast for the groups I collect tends to not be worth buying from even from neokyo where the fees are cheeper. There are also never any rarer pcs or if they are they're hellishly overpriced even for the cheeper members. I haven't bought from buyee since the Ukraine war started cause it did make shipping to the UK sky rocket

firstly, i did not delete your original comment. its common for youtube to mark comments that are long/have specific words/link/etc as spam, and its put under review until i manually approve it, thus why it doesnt show in the comment section. i barely even have time to see and respond to all my comments never mind go and delete any which i never even do really.
to address your concern with the fees: ive mentioned proxy fees, including buyee's, in videos here and there. its even in the buyee tutorial video i made years back which i linked, so its no secret that theres fees from proxies. its also just a very common fact for proxies to include fees for things such as service fees per order, consolidating, packaging, etc, in fact neokyo, the proxy u mentioned has them! also including other japanese proxies, korean addresses, etc. all fees are listed out on these websites for consumers to see so again its really no secret, and a majority of collectors who use mercari japan and proxies know this. so sorry i didnt mention it in the video for you, but again, i do link a tutorial and its laid out on their website.
i choose to work with buyee and use their service (non sponsored also) because me and other collectors want the convenience of buying cards itself rather than bulk buying albums and trying to pull the cards randomly. i also am aware of these fees and choose to pay them because of that convenience, after all, proxies are a service. ofc you have the option to use any proxy of your choice, but its strange to point out one proxy if pretty much all proxies charge service fees for the services you mentioned. i also have mentioned before that its better to use these proxies for buying multiple cards, not just a couple, otherwise of course the international shipping isnt gonna be worth it. in this specific case, around 250 photocards and albums came out to ~$70 usd for ems including consolidation, so id say the shipping is worth it split across all my items. like the previous comments in this thread, its easier and most often times cheaper to buy photocards from mercari japan in comparison to say instagram/twitter/mercari usa/ebay. i wouldnt contiuously buy from mercari japan if i didnt want to.
lastly, you and everyone else have the freedom to use this proxy or not. yes the video is sponsored, but its because i genuinely like their service and like to work with them, therefore i partnered with them. you dont have to use buyee if you dont want to, but its just a recommendation from my personal experience. i do get lots of sponsorship offers including ones from other proxies, but i just chose buyee because again i like their service personally, not only because its an opportunity for free money/stuff. i also wouldnt intentionally hide details about buyee's services and such, theres really no need for that as its again, all on their website and i dont work for them/own any shares or whatever.
to address other concerns in your comment:
"collectors who get their stuff paid for don't stress on these fees enough" - i mentioned in the beginning of the video that half of the stuff was also bought with my own personal money. not everything was paid for, again i chose to spend more of my own money because i wanted to use their service, fees and all. also forgive me for not mentioning fees every single time i mention a proxy.
"you can find a bunch of great items on Rakuma/Fril." - this depends on personal experience again. ive looked on those sites and i personally havent found as wide of a variety in photocard availability and prices compared to mercari japan, which is why again, i prefer to use mercari japan over those sites. if you like those sites more and find everything you need, great! you can use those, again its all based on personal experience. not everyone will have the same experience.
"you have to pay customs as well" - im lucky enough where i dont have to deal with customs, but this isnt really specific to buyee, so tacking customs as a part of their fees really isnt right.
