    Nice. Tanzania is much more expensive as Asia? Right ? The price for safari is unbelievable high. In Ruanda, to see the rainforest gorilla is so expensive, only millionaire can pay it.

      Yes, it is much more expensive to travel in Tanzania than it is in Asian countries. In just one month in Tanzania, if you do a safari, it can cost as much as 6 months in Southeast Asia. And while seeing the gorillas in Rwanda or Uganda is definitely expensive, safari tours in Tanzania can be much higher, as it seems to be the African country with the most tourists, who are willing and able to pay such high prices.

      The German defend Tansania in the ww1. A German officer, leading a small group of German and native Tansania Askari. The Brits with them Allie's trups, are 10 times bigger. The German defending with the Askari unbeaten until end of war. The German officer who's so successful, the Brits called him the German Lawrence of Arabia.
      After the war, in 1920 ths.
      The officer strike for the Askari soldiers in Tansania a pension rentire, ehm. Money every month for people who pension? This money, was paid until 1990!?? After the last Askari in Tansania is dying.
      The Germans building schools there for every one. PRICELESS
      Like in Germany. And until this time, school in Tansania is called Schule.

    The price for restaurant food is also high. 10-15 dollars. Is expensive. Why it's so expensive??

    • @nicholedelvalley8014
      @nicholedelvalley8014  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, it is quite expensive when compared to countries in Asia. But that price is for 2 people, so it's more reasonable than prices in the US, UK, or Australia, for example. I think Tanzania in particular has high prices because it is the African country that most tourists flock to, and tourism certainly drives up prices, which also makes it much more difficult for local people, who can't afford to pay.

      @@nicholedelvalley8014 thanks. Now it makes sense for me. A house, looking like a deer home, on Sansibar, is similar expensive like a home in Germany, HIGHEST quality.

    The food in Tanzania and safari trips arw very cheap very friendly prices , maybe she went to the high level Restaurants thats why she says it's expensive, but in reality 100 Usd is almost 240,000/- Tanzania shillings which you can eat for one week for moderate meals .

    I hope not. But the Chinese want to build a very large container port there. That would rock this picturisk city.
