Thanks for these commentary videos! Just found your channel and binging all your vids as they are an invaluable resource of commentary. Much easier to learn and follow over the pure "gameplay" videos most people are putting out.
While brick fist doesn’t do much against law, it does allow you to go Kaya, brick fist it back, and Kaya again to draw 4 in the late game. I’ve done this a few times to help close out games
Taking the second blocker law was a mistake over the restand law need to keep the pressure up, gaining hand advantage and developing blockers is kinda pointless against a deck that never pressures you
This is what I call "law brain" and is usually the cause of most of their losses. They keep pushing for advantage in situations where its not needed and they're already ahead. His final turn attack swings were terrible as well. You have two options against nami: swing as many times as possible or keep swinging 9k. If you can't swing for 9k with every attack you start small and work up.
its definitely an interesting choice, im not entirely sure his reasoning. It sounds kinda good into zoro but I have not tried playing it so I'm not sure
@@KrisbieTCG-ds4sn It's a great mirror match counter pick. You're resting your opponents small targets or blockers(mostly against zoro/law) and then you bounce your 2k back to your hand with leader.
Pilaf isn't a Pot of greed it costs resources and tempo to play. PoG is PoG because its a plus 1 at no drawback and with no real opportunity cost. Pilaf is moreso a divination from mtg , but slightly better in the context of opcg.
I think if he played film chopper and blocker chopper turn 2 instead of the bonney and chopper he could have leadered turn 3 and also get to use his bonney. If he didnt hit a blocker law/rush luffy he could have then just bounced the bonney back for the zoro. I'm not sure how much of a difference that would have made but it would have let him start seeing more cards with bonney earlier.
Yeah definitely more matches from this championship

@@KrisbieTCG-ds4sn i think film chopper helps remove kayas less chances to mill
@@pono696 That could have been impactful as well
I don't care what language its in, nami just pisses me off. Shes playing a completely different game, and its not fun to play at all
