A lot of people are trying to fight this, but i think it makes the workflow much easier considering rendering is only part of the design process and not really the key part of design…most firms i have worked for even eventually outsource renders…yes renders are important especially for clients who can not perceive anything with 2D architectural and construction drawings, but in the end the construction work is mostly done with 2D architectural and construction drawings and those are very much developed throughout the design process that needs the critical thinking done by man. So I love this! Thanks!

One thing that AI tools need to improve on when rendering though is retaining materials. Sometimes it turns my wood textures into marble, or metal into glass.
Needs a lot of prompts to actually get it right. Basically why I don’t use it that much during DD to CD stages but use it more on SD. Few tweaks then render it on a proper rendering engine.

All these options are for presentation purpose. none of them solves the production purpose. Still Humans will be need to do the job

One of the problems, impossiblem to reaped the same effets, of say change drawing/floor plan. AI each time will make another variation. So it is useless for a professional use.

Tried with this tool, but found the rendered image details is not exactly the same as sketch draws. Disappointed! We still need SketchUp

The problem with AI is that whatever it generate, it is final you cant adjust anything just like render elements or 3d change.
possible with stable diffusion or photoshop extension. but yes, I get your point. The replacement is still pretty random
so you use Traditional cut and past Old af Paint Techniques.. Then render texture over object
It's true that we haven't got to that level of customization but we can still use these results and adjust them in Photoshop. Or even use the Photoshop Generative fill!
AI is basically just throwing a dice, sometimes you get a good roll. This tool in particular is basically just a glorified stable diffusion model with set instructions, checkpoints and loras. You could use inpainting to replace certain parts but even then you still have to roll the dice. Best way i found so far is to actually paint in whatever you want and then use inpainting to make sure the object fits better into the overall image aesthetics. But AI is still.. well.. not good because the illusion falls apart immediately the second you zoom in or focus on a certain part. It's not quality work and should not be treated as such.

I think the basic features offer a low res image. High res are on the paid versions.
it's smell like the end of the most of 3d archviz jobs but it looks promising for architects.
maybe only for concepts and presenting initial idea.. For final rendering there is something called choosing MATERIAL ;)

Bro is using sketch up and escape with material Prompts is waaay faster than this AI. Also Revit BIM has new AI that is really useful for technical drawings. This tool isn't much help for me. Nice work though.

Too rigid. I want to choose the colours and wallpapers to impose on the rooms.
This can be detrimental to established rendering application companies. I often have a model, but, in my work flow, the time to add decent entourage, plants, and background--simply to flesh-out image-- is not justified. I think many people like me will use their rendering software less if they have this option.

Not as mainstream as it once was but yes offices still use it. I think in smaller offices mostly. There's a lot more smaller offices then anything else.
