Hello Leazette! Of all the serums released by beauty companies, I think this one is the best. It’s just exactly what it says it will be and if it goes underneath rather than over moisturizer it’s going to be a little less of a glow. I just like this real healthy glow sometimes.
It’s SOOOO awesome that you got PR!!!! What an interesting product!!! And no fragrance??!!! Wow, what a concept!!!! I am so tired of battling fragrances; I can’t stand it, so this is music to my ears. I no longer have the “warm California sunshine” over here: it’s cold now!!!!! Time to get the furnace going and time to plug in Leo’s heated bed, which stays on 24/7 during the winter. I enjoy the cold weather A LOT!!!! Yayyyyyy!!! Thank you for the review; the glow is lovely!!! 🥰💖
Leo must LOVE his heated bed!!!!!! I am so envious of your cooler weather. We had a day this weekend when it was sort of overcast and everyone got out the beanies and sweatshirts. haha.
Ooooh I bet this would be a nice boost of moisture under my tinted foundation since you may not remember me saying this - but I hate putting moisturizer under tinted moisturizer - seems stupid to me lol. But this looks like it would be perfect. Since I’m in Canada I’m adding this to the Sephora sale list. It looks lovely on your skin. I have a crazy cold Canadian winter coming so this looks perfect and what a great price for a serum ($50 in Canada). And THANK YOU MERIT FOR NO FRAGRANCE! Can I get an AMEN! Great skin care ingredients too - I’m excited!
Hello Michelle! Yes! Exactly. Moisturizer UNDER TINTED moisturizer? Huh? This is a good one. It's a shame to see Pat McGrath and Charlotte get a lot of attention for their glowy products when this one is actually better!
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I have CT flawless filter and just don’t like it but that’s primarily just glossy makeup. The Merit is primarily skin care so that’s why I like the idea of it. And btw I just joined your channel - the first and only YT channel I joined. 😘

I hear more about this serum here, it's beautiful with all the other products dear Rebecca!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩Fragrance free sounds like music in my ears of course!!! I saw somewhere that it comes to the UK early 2023. Hope not only for Selfridges/Harrods as they don't want to ship beauty products to The Netherlands, i think still Brexit stuff. But i'm very curious for this product in the meantime!!!! Another great video, thanks so much, have an amazing day!!!!😘😘😘😘
This serum gave you that beautiful glow, I usually associate with Korean skincare. It made you look so hydrated and youthful. Interesting that it can be used as a primer. Would you say this is a better option for people with combination skin, or those who prefer lighter weight products, than the CT Flawless Filter and Iconic Radiance Booster?
GREAT question, Chiena! The CT Flawless Filter is more of a foiled highlighter look and the Iconic is a bit more like this but not quite as glowy. The Iconic glow fades a bit with foundation over it. This one really shines through. Great for dry, combo and normal skins. Works for oily skin but used much more sparingly. I got this glow by using over moisturizer. If used before moisturizing, it's much more tame.
Hello Maria! Great question. I absolutely use sunscreen as part of my morning routine and I have used this serum over it or over the moisturizer that is over it and all has been well
You know Wendy, that’s a tough one. Some complexions actually benefit from the oil. But most of the time, I’d say that anything with a reflective quality won’t really do any favors to enlarged pores unfortunately. So yes. I’d avoid those areas.
I've eyed this for a while. Ehmm, if used over moisturizer, will it still absorb ...? And if under, does it still show a bit of glow through the cream? Thanks in advance!
Hello Hannah!!! If I’m using it in the morning for the glassy skin look, I put on my vitamin C, sunscreen and let it all soak in. Then serum. Then foundation 💕💕💕
Hello Rebecca, I am on the fence with this one.I don’t wear foundation so I would wear this alone or mix a drop with my sunscreen.I love the clean skin look. It’s in my Sephora basket !! Thanks for the video 💕Arleen
Morning skincare. I moisturized last right before serum for the glass skin look. When I want it more subdued, I don’t moisturize. Just let sunscreen sink in and then a bit less serum.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I really want to try the new serum and complexion stick how would u say color run . I normal light to medium with cool undertones. I can can sometimes get away with light medium with neutral undertone. But I notice they have fair light by pics light looks like it might match but pics are terrible to shade match and shade marcher is terrible
Totally works great over no moisturizer. Not as glass like…which I often prefer. That moisturizer was the drunk elephant hydra moisturizer. But all of them do well with the Merit product. I’ve tried quite a few.
For this particular demonstration I did not but in general, I put my sunscreen on after my moisturizer and I kinda let them sit a little bit in between application so if I were putting this Merit on before my moisturizer that I would put sunscreen on after and if I were putting the Merit on like a little bit of a glass skin look, like I did here, I would put the spf on with the moisturizer before, if that makes sense.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty yeah I understand. Just have to figure out where to fit my spf in thanks. Im wearing a tinted moisturizer lately with an spf May have to reconfigure my steps. Thanks
@@habituallinestepper8839 as long as the merit product goes on before foundation it could be after your moisturizer or before your moisturizer. SPF can even go on after the merit. Just as long as the merit is on somewhere in there before foundation. Experimenting with the steps is super easy and you can’t really make a mistake. So you used it as a primer essentially. Does using it extend the length of wear of your makeup? Do the minimalist sticks apply better, glide over face easier, when applied on top of the serum? Is it an oil or just a liquid serum?
The highlighted ingredients include hyaluronic acid, niacinamide and cocoa derivative for caffeine. Water is the first ingredient in the stabilizers list but I did notice a seed mentioned as well a little further down the list so that would be oil. I realize water and oil don’t mix but I am just noting that. Essentially, yes I used it as a primer And the make up wore exactly the same, no more and no less. It does indeed make the minimalistic apply and glide easier but I have also used it under other make up and it’s just more of a healthy glowing skin rather than an oil feeling. If you think of, or saw demonstrated, the Westman Atelier tint which is an oil based tint it is not that kind of a shine. Much more of a serum shine than that slick oil feeling which I can’t stand.
It is very pretty but very glowy. In terms of make up brands releasing serums, this one is the best of the bunch. And for oilier complexions, very nice for the dead of winter underneath make up!
