God bless you for your dill8gence. The Lord has been giv8ng me proverbs 13 to read daily. I have gleaned much but still feel the Holy spirit wants to reveal more. Their is so much more I get from prov.13, every time i read and meditate on it. As i shared regarding verse 1a "a wise son heeds his father's instruction. We can listen but we need to ask him on a personal level, "what do u want me to do or not to do today ", then follow those instructions for that day. The fact that we followed his instructions for last, week, month or year. Does not let us off the hook for obeying God in the even small daily things. Don't give up your daily teaching. Thank God for social media and people like you . God bless you

It is important to listen to parents yes but not if it conflicts with the Holy Bible and Children need to know that and stand strong in their energy and seek God and pray for wisdom.

Earthly parents are human, they are of flesh, they can do and teach evil things. Parents who teach you Gods’s Word whether they are your “real” parents are not are the people I pray to listen to despite my trauma with my biological parents

V1 earthly parents even as adults- maybe about marriage or finances or raising kids
V3 many plans of mine if good things have come to ruin or never got off the ground because I spoke of them before I was suppose to. Sometimes it seems as if God wants you to keep quiet and let him be the publicist if and when.
V4 contentment oh to reach this level. Journey
V7 this speaks into my life in the very very near past. I just began my debt free journey.

I wasn’t looking at pride as not, wanting to hear the feedback, I was looking at pride as an overconfidence. If I want to grow, I need to seek feedback.

V8 this is why suing a broke person is basically pointless
    V11 life verse
V12 first read this during Covid. Right after our church closed it’s doors. This is when I chose my bible over alcohol and got sober after a 10 year addiction. Maybe not this particular verse but this was part of it.

The Lords instructions are different every day, when it comes to personal things, so we need to listen to his instructions for that day or that.moment

V1heavenly Father and earthly parents. Even as adults. It changes but they can still recommend things etc. I think about finances etc.
V3 many plans/good things of mine have come to ruin and never happened because I spoke of them before I was suppose to. Sometimes it seems that God wants you to be quiet and let Him be the publicist if and when.
V4 contentment- oh to reach this- journey
V7 speaks in my life in the very near past. Turning things around now financially.
V8 this is why suing a broke person is virtually pointless.
    V11 life verse
V12 first read this during Covid outbreak. When our church closed. This is when I chose God over alcohol and got sober.
V18 in our society correction/discipline is considered embarrassing but in Gods kingdom it is an honor.
V20 it is all about who you surround yourself with
    V21 so true
V24 life struggles right now. I am essentially a single mom business owner. Kids are 3 and 6 and husband works nights. So hard.

I'm confused about verse 12. Is it wrong for me to be hopefull about God answering my prayers. Or should I just pray about the situation and then move on?

    • @BibleBujo
      @BibleBujo  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

It's definitely not wrong to be hopeful - God wants us to be hopeful. I think what it's trying to say is that it can get discouraging when what you're hoping for takes a long time to be fulfilled. It's OK and encouraged throughout scripture to pray and be hopeful. Hope this helps 🙂
