Hiking to the Top of the Great Marble Pyramid | Vihren Peak in Pirin Mountains | Bulgaria | 4K

We hiked to Vihren peak from Vihren hut in summer. It is the highest peak of Bulgaria's Pirin Mountains. Reaching 2,914 metres (9,560 ft), it is Bulgaria's second and the Balkans' third highest, after Musala and Mount Olympus.
This is an amazing hike in the Pirin mountain range. Do note that it can be quite difficult, especially close to the summit when you have to scramble for a short period! However, the views from the top are totally worth the momentary pain felt before.
We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed the views from the summit. Often it's cloudy at this altitude, even in summer.
