      The website says it's 14 days free but you say is 30 days???? Are you sure? Not a trick?

    • @pauldittus
      @pauldittus  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@fliu5282 I noticed that too. When you first load the page it says 14 days. If you refresh the page or click on "Try for free", the 30 day free trial wording should appear. Let me know if that works my friend.
      Sorry for the confusion. I was confused why it said 14 days instead of 30 as well when I clicked my own link.

      Thanks Spike!! The free 30 day trial gives you a decent amount of time to try it out to see if it's valuable to your workflow.
      That could be interesting. Notion is an awesome software. I would say Sunsama and Notion are compatible and don't really compete much with each other. The beauty of Sunsama is you can bring in tasks from places like Notion and other project management tools.
      If you try it, I would be curious to hear your thoughts on the app 👍

    I wish I would've seen this video and the affiliate link for Sunsama before I gave it a try. It would have saved me a big learning curve as well as half a month of use cost. Excellent tutorial including how to use the timer and example of using the weekly review, I hadn't seen that explained before. Thank you! I'm on day 4 of the trial. Balancing what to put on the calendar vs. what to leave in 'to do.' I need breaks between tasks and the calendar doesn't accommodate that so easily.

    • @pauldittus
      @pauldittus  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so much for the kind words, Deborah! I appreciate it. I’m so glad I could help.
      Completely understand about scheduling things on the calendar. Another great method is the playlist method. You basically organize the tasks in order that you want to complete instead of time boxing them. Here’s an article which might help: help.sunsama.com/docs/timeboxing-concepts-and-principles#:~:text=The%20alternative%20to%20timeboxing%20is,your%20way%20down%20the%20list.
      It is also nice to add breaks between tasks when you do schedule tasks on the calendar to give yourself buffer time. You can setup time specifications for those gaps when autoscheduling in the timeboxing section of the settings.
      Welcome to the channel family! Have a great week!

    Hi Paul - thanks for posting this!
    1) Are you able to plan monthly or just weekly?
    2) Are you able to see a snapshot of your month in a sort of monthly calendar view to reflect back on your month?
    Appreciate it.

    • @pauldittus
      @pauldittus  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi friend! My pleasure 😊
      1) Right now planning is just weekly, but I would love to see monthly/quarterly/annual planning in the future. Definitely suggest it to the team 👍
      2) I love this idea too! That would be super helpful especially if you have client/project work that way you can see at a glance where you spent most of your time that month. They do have a way you can see a calendar, but it doesn't show the time spent like the weekly review has. This would be another feature to suggest to the Sunsama team 😊

    • @pauldittus
      @pauldittus  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Charlie! Thanks for the message. I could see that setup working.
      Notion is great for SOPs and keeping information in one place. It's kind of like a website for your life. You can have databases within databases.
      Personally I find Notion not as great for Project Management. For Project Management I'm currently using ClickUp, but I've used and tested others as well.
      I might be able to offer a more tailored recommendation. What are you hoping to use these for? Personal or Business purposes? What have you used in the past that has helped you stay organized (digital or analog)?

      Hey friend! I've heard of Akiflow, but haven't tried it. Routine I believe is new to me. Which is your favorite so far?
      Thanks for sharing and welcome to the channel fam 🎉

    • @robfuzz
      @robfuzz ปีที่แล้ว

      @@pauldittus They're all similar as daily planners with integrations. Sunsama is very zen about your day and all its integrations are built in. Akiflow integrates with Zapier and IFTTT so you can bring in a lot of info. With Akiflow integrations they have to be triggered in the root app by tagging or another method. It is nice to have everything baked-in in Sunsama. Akiflow has amazing notifications. I never miss a meeting. Sunsama really needs that and I don't know how a planner app launches w/o it. Routine feels less ready-for-primetime out of the three. It's ambitious but the mobile app is not very functional and the desktop app is still in beta. It has some strange workflows. I'm playing wait-and-see with it.

      Oh that’s interesting. I haven’t seen that one before. What does it do?
      Sunsama does have the ability to access multiple tool tasks and such, but this seems different than a unified inbox.
      If this has been a game changer feature I would suggest asking Sunsama if they have considered adding it or if they will in the future. They seem to be innovating regularly.

      @@pauldittus Basically similar to Sunsama you can integrate apps to get tasks from. The difference is, you have an inbox, where all your tasks show up and you can then plan them. Sunsama is the better app but why they do not have this feature I don't know. It was the reason I left.
