notes for myself:
- the clutch biting point is when the car would shake a bit, and would start to lean a bit backwards
- brake first then clutch when trying to slow down from speeds of 20kph and above
- clutch first then brake when trying to slow down from speeds less than 20kph
Steps when driving a manual car:
1) Make sure that your car is in neutral first before turning on the car. "When switching gears, always press the clutch fully."
2) (in a leveled plane) Once the car is turned on and it is safe to go,
3) Clutch all the way down
4) Disengage your handbrake
5) Go to the 1st gear + give gas to 1000 rpm
6) Get to the biting point with your clutch and slowly, your car will move!
7) Once you get to 10kph, you can fully let go of the clutch
8) ONCE YOU REACH 2000 RPM, GO TO THE NEXT GEAR!! BUT WHEN NEED TO SLOW DOWN, CHANGE BACK TO THE 1ST GEAR
STOPPING (IN A LEVELED PLANE):
1) AFTER SLOWING DOWN EITHER WITH BRAKE FIRST OR CLUTCH FIRST:
2) FULLY PRESS CLUTCH THEN GO TO NEUTRAL, THEN YOU CAN DISENGAGE CLUTCH
3) HANDBRAKE
4) YOU CAN LET GO OF THE FOOTBRAKE NOW

eto stopping me conflict sabe ng teacher ko sa driving skul if hihinto ka depende yan kung mabilis takbo mo pabagalin mo muna sa break pedal pag mabagal na saka ka aapak sa clutch all the way down tas apakan ang break tas change gear to neutral tas hand break tas alisin apak sa clutch. nalimutan mo po yung break pedal sir...

thank you so much po! kakatapos lang po ng 1st driving lesson ko kanina for MT, nabilib instructor ko dahil alam na alam ko naman na daw pala 🤣 kako nanood lang po ako sa TH-cam at may naging experience ako sa pag drive ng AT for 2days 4-5years ago nung tinuruan ako ng tito ko. Sobrang laking tulong din po ng pinanood kong videos mo about sa biting point churva hahahah may times lang na nabibilisan kong i-angat ung paa ko sa clutch kaya 3-4x akong namatayan ng makina kanina 😂 sana po maituro mo rin kung pano kapag gustong i-adjust ung paa na nakatapak sa clutch kapag uneven ground

Idol ka fix it yung clutch down din break or break and clutch dko kasi ma gets for example ganto nasa 2nd gear or 3rd gear syempre medjo malakas nayan tumakbo ang uunahin is brake then clutch? Tama poba kung clutch and brake naman dpat nasa 1 thousand rpm or mga 15kph yan lang kasi dko magets. Baka naman pano

Pwede po bang ilagay sa neutral habng umaandar ang sasakyan? Like for exmple po nsa third gear ako tapos illaagay ko sa nuetral?

Hindi nman basta wag lang magbabad sa clutch biting point and dont generate too much revs by appliying too much gas. Kapag umaarangkada hold the clutch at biting point for about 3-5 seconds not more at kapag ang takbo ng sasakyan ay 10kph and above na pwede mona bitawan ang clutch.

Kung may ECU ang sasakyan ay hindi hihinto hanggat dimo tinatapakan ang brake pedal considering na napaarangkada mo ito sa patag na kalsada.

Sir okay lang po ba e realease kaagad yung clutch kapag gusto mo na mag 1st gear? Or release slowly yung clutch?
Depende sa situation ka Fixit but usually holding the clutch at biting point for a few seconds like 2-3 seconds ay makakatulong for a smoother transition ng power because it helps the clutch perform its job which is to revmatch the engine and tranamission.
