Aespa's creative team also isn't holding press conferences to whine about other groups or to talk about their so-called "cultural achievements". They just get on with making great music and great music videos.

So Armageddon is a new universe where aespa is kidnapped and controlled by a new Villain, THAT BIG GIANT SIREN ALIEN! The alien uses aespa's body to form its body Perfectly. And Giselle with metal on her face, Karina with membranes on her ears, Ningning with a blindfold, Winter with her wings IS a representation of the alien form itself.

This lore started way back in drama. The reflections, mirrors, them blowing up their own car and they were in the car, those were all dopplegangers. Also the members fighting each other in teams, in one scene it was black and white and in another the same fight in coloured, they were basically fighting each other's dopplegangers and they were different scenes. Rlly cool buildup. Supernova being the girls preparing to fight the aliens, giselle being triggered into becoming a supernova by the other girls might be them getting ready for the fight. And armageddon being continuing the storyline. Its basically next level like theyre teleported into this new place. It might either be a new trilogy between drama, supernova and armageddon. OR this concept might carry on further with later comebacks

The thing with Supernova is you have to be exposed to the song like every single minute on the platforms such as x and tiktok bc it will help everyone to hype or jam to the song. These two helped me a lot by loving and appreciating the song 😩 plus the unexpected success in the domestic charts like daaaaamn

This is not the typical aespa sound. It's something different. Supernova is their typical sound, and for now I prefer that over Armageddon. Armageddon music video and concept are superior to all their previous ones though! Mind blowing. I love that they're doing something new.
In terms of music composing (vocal, instrumental and choreography) i prefer drama, that hits so hard, but for concepts (omg) artworks, storyboard, oh my god armageddon, aespa is just on the next level. Sm’s mv storyboard is unbeatable
I think the genre switch in some of their latest releases are more subtle than their early or debut era. It’s like the switch is suddenly there in one part of the song.
i really loved the song !!! No doubt in that but i want to suggest something-- the chorus where they sing "Done", "Gone" .. they should have added a bit of lows and a deep bass atleast after the bridge. Its all in too high scale
This mv reminds me so much of girls and drama. The doppleganger fights its a continuation to drama. And them invading the base of the enemy the camera scenes its very reminiscent of the girls mv the hallways
With Supernova i didnt feel like its was better than Drama but Armageedon is crazy good, one of the best a long side Drama both the best Aespa songs imo. The MV is great by far the most unique with so many references and meaning. The outfits are great on point. The choreo it good but doesnt hit hard honestly still above average. I like the song. I’m glad that of the 10 songs this one is the album title. This one is probably my favorite of the 10 I always worry about artists going down directions I don’t like as much. I’m glad that groups like aespa do have a sound for their popular songs, BUT they have more sounds. There is an aespa song for everyone. If you like rap/hiphop there is definitely an aespa song for you. If you like ballads, there is an aespa song. Maybe you want a chill summer jam like “Better Things” or “BAHAMA”. They even have pop-sounding songs. “Live My Life” sounds like a western pop song (I personally don’t like it). Some people love it though. One thing that Aespa does same with NMIXX and other K-pop is genre mashing. It can be at the same time or different verses/prechoruses/bridges feel like completely different songs. There can be 2 to 5 completely different sounding songs in one song. I love it, but people in the west that are not K-pop fans don’t always embrace that kind of chaos. K-pop says the more the better. Put it all in. It can be too much for some people.
