I am genuinely baffled by some of the comments. In addition to the fact that this video is a lesson in learning how to remain unbothered in all circumstances the fact that this small thing can be bothersome to some, to the point of action. Also, thank you, because I was also bothered by the comments. I was so grateful for the lesson I expected everyone else to also be grateful that someone took the time to provide us with useful information but I am also intending on being imperturbable but I was perturbed by the lack of gratitude so I took a moment to reflect. So thank you for the opportunity to apply the lesson. Life is a journey of experiences, I aim to be in control of the impact of My experiences on this journey. Safe travels my friends .

While it may sound like JD's philosophy, I genuinely believe this is a computer generated fabrication of his voice. This may be an example of a nightmare hijacking they've been warning us about with AI. I've been listening to Joe for 15 years, I know the pace and tempo of his talks, as many of us do. In this audio, there are no comas between the important segments of these statements, to me, it sounded contrived. If it's true, it's profoundly depressing that this fraudulent process could be applied to any respected speaker.

I’m not sure how much of this is Jo!, sounds a lot like his real take on things. One problem that I’ve noticed with his work, and the work of almost the entire self development industry is that there is no acknowledgment of trauma. When he’s talking about, don’t sweat the small stuff, and the brain doesn’t know the difference between small and big things, that is only partially true. When we are in an excessively vulnerable state, tired, sick, or exhausted for other reasons, or if we are in a hypnotic state, such as watching television, things that happen can get buried much deeper into our subconscious, or bypass our conscious mind altogether like in this case of TV. And when traumatic situation happen, which is anything that overwhelms our nervous system or damages our belief systems by something happening, which seems to contradict what we know to be true about the world, a lot of times we don’t recognize that more serious damage has happened. There is small t and big T trauma, and lots of smaller things happening- in addition to chronic stress, it has the exact same effect on our body, immune system and nervous system, as one gigantic wallop of trauma at one time can have. But rarely is that understood, or acknowledged, by medical or mental health professionals, let alone the general population.
Overall, I absolutely love uncle Joe and stuff that I’ve learned from him and his books over the past 18 months has altered the course of my life and mindset much for the better! Gabor Mate is also an excellent person to look up, especially if dealing with any kind of addiction, trauma, or ADHD symptoms.

So true what you are saying, it appears simple, but for some, there is a deep programming that goes on in the subconscious (Trauma) that needs more than a video. It is important that humans understand this.....

Sometimes it is beneficial to go back to when he originally started teaching these
concepts. He does speak a lot about what may at this point seem like is not being spoken about but it's all in his own personal beginning story.
Some one could listen to this and not know many very important facts about Joe, who he is personally and the many circumstances he personally navigated through to get to where he is today.
Where my life is at the moment it has truly been my gracious Heavenly Father that has lead me to Dr Joe to help me understand and do what He has revealed to me, it has increased my insight into how valuable to God I am in our relationship together. I am a more courageous person and live in greater freedom in spite of who else is around me or their opinions... He also taught this excellent truth... Don't tell everyone what you are doing... It cuts out the critics and energy drainers. Bless you as you continue this wonderful but sometimes uncomfortable but progressive journey.

I think that's why he stresses it so much with meditation, you rlly have to dig deep and step out of that state of mind/feeling everyday he does not offer it like a quick simple solution, he knows that trauma goes deep and can take years to unravel depending on the situation but its gonna be worth working on rather than dwelling in those emotions for years, decades, lifetimes like most people do and let it run you

Thank you for making these videos. Even though they are augmented & modified, the content is powerful, meaningful and well done. It can’t be easy to produce these. Keep up the good work. Please. In essence, there are two basic types of things in life. Things we can control, and things we can’t control. If you can’t control something, don’t think about it, worry about it, or fret & ruminate upon it. The act of doing so has NO transformational value. None. On the other hand, if you can genuinely effect control over something (attitude, behavior and choices) and impact or influence a given outcome, then by all means you should do (control) it. Now, as so often is the is the case in life, intellectually, this sounds so easy & simple, however, the practical application of this is SO darn elusive, difficult and often too hard to execute. It takes practice… lots and lots and LOTS of practice until it becomes habitual. First you become aware, and then you become aware that you are aware, and when you take the ACTION and combine it with ongoing practice, more practice and unyielding discipline & conviction, one can and will achieve amazing results. It’s the law, and hence irrefutably, factually TRUE. No, it’s not easy, the most worthwhile achievements in life never are, but by golly It’s SO worth it. The operative words are awareness, action, and practice. Once you are rewarded with even just a small taste of ‘results’ AKA success, you will double down on your efforts and start to point this super power at any & all areas of your life. You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great. It took you a long time to firmly wrap yourself around the axle, so it’s going to take some time to untangle all those hardwired neurological pathways and rewire your thoughts and beliefs to produce the results that you seek, and that you so richly deserve. Believe me, the juice is worth the squeeze. More to the point YOU and your happiness & fulfillment in life are worth it! XOXO

Curious to know how you know this AI information is "some of what would never be said..."? I did hear some editing stops, and obviously, his voice has been sped up. But other than this, I have heard Dr. D uses the exact same rhetoric in dozens of interviews and, of course, in his books/seminars. I realize this is not Dr. D's YT channel and someone else has 'used' his name/info, which dozens of channels use as well as other famous speakers, authors, celebrities, Gurus, etc... ad nauseum. Not disputing that you are wrong here, just asking to learn/know how this is wrong information (besides someone using his name on his subject)? Respectfully. Thanks.

I have always wanted to be unflappable. And I see the wisdom in it. I always have trouble practicing when I am around my parents. The idea of not letting outside events affect you is super foreign to them. They were brought up in a time/environment where the appropriate response is always to assign blame (self or others) and to react in such a way that whatever caused the disturbance would be deterred from doing it again (anger, shaming, guilting). When they see me NOT acting this way, they interpret it as me not caring enough. Now that I live away from them it is a lot easier to be the person I have always wanted to be.

I love Joe, and have listened to a ton of his stuff and read his books, and he’s amazing. BUT one caution with this. You can become TOO GOOD at pretending nothing bothers you and in some cases it may delay you taking action to create change in life. I suppose eventually it will work out because eventually you’ll get fed up and burst into action. This happened to me, I realized that I had actually lowered my standards so much so I didn’t really have to feel the distance between what my life is and what I really wanted. So just be careful, there is a fine line between making a choice to not lett something bother you AND becoming numb to your true desires. This is called spiritual bypassing and it is NOT a good thing.

Dr. Joe Dispenza AI!? I don’t think it’s legally correct to use him. I do like what the AI created speech is saying but this is not Dr. Joe shame on you, & all of your videos lately have been like this. New rules require TH-cam uploaders to disclose when their videos contain AI-generated effects, like voice cloning or face swapping.

Joe dispenza or Joe schmoe whomever wrote this touched a place in me that makes sense. It has been years since anything seems sensical to my personality. First time my mind doesn't fight what Joe says, and it is not Joe ...allegedly...that's the mind getting in the way of something that might work towards my potential equanimity. So whomever this is thank you.....by the way AI is going to kick humaty's ass. Mainly because humans are involved. It has already started. Maybe the robots would do a better job than us homosapiens.
Thank you to the content creator .

The state of current society is more prison like than a society of stoicism and thinkers. Currently you have to be aggressive back otherwise you are seen as weak.

she didn't look at oncoming traffic and pulled out in front of me. i braked hard and barely avoided hitting her car. she flipped me off. i said, "Thank you for the experience." THAT'S my way. i tripped, fell, heard my ankle snap and before i hit the ground, i said, "Thank you for the experience." Ankle not broke, sprained. anyway, long time ago I decided to receive all things every experience with thankfulness. it works for me. so simple. kept doing it. practice practice practice, now auto-habit.

The first example of someone cutting you off is hard to just let go because we are as a society taught to not let anybody step on you and that is clearly a movement of disrespect. I understand what you're saying let It Go however in the current society that's not the norm the current society is to fight back with aggression. Turn the other cheek is a sign of weakness.

What about if you are in actual physical danger from an angry, volatile person? Yes, take space away from that person, but what if we can't fully get that person 100% out of our lives just yet? How do we navigate that?

  • @jennifere.7205
    @jennifere.7205 หลายเดือนก่อน

I don't think the "cutting off in traffic" example is a good one to illustrate this point, because there's actually a real threat here that logically led to the anger. It's the threat that someone could have gotten into a serious accident caused by the other one's carelessness. I think it's ok to express your emotions rather than keep them bottled up inside...if not, wouldn't it be called repression? And we know that's not good. It's not good to dwell on it and let it ruin your day, though. That I agree with.😮

Might have some truth to it but get away from abusive people, they're not healthy for your mental health and it's not good to have them dirty your life with their negativity. It doesn't help to act unbothered when you are clearly bothered and getting treated badly by a narcissistic person in your life. It's like lying to yourself about the truth of the circumstance you're in... Sometimes messages like this can be taken out of context... And used the wrong way. It's so important to have discernment because we choose what reality we want to be in by the people we intentionally or unintentionally choose to be around us.
