I love the fact you showing the “country small town” part of the south and the lingo. This is refreshing to see. I hope JD go far man it’s unheard of for a player like him to stay in 2A and to still Ball I hope he go str8 to the NBA and go crazy!
For people that saying his team sucks his school is a 2a which means it’s a low ranked and populated school so they not gonna get the best athlete’s, jd is just having fun cause it’s his senior year and he’s with his teammates that he grew up with his whole life. Yes it’s all about getting ready for the next level but he pretty much is ready and has nothing to prove and is committed already and just wants to enjoy his last year and hang with his teammates. I respect him for staying cause yes he could easily go somewhere like a img or oak hill and put in work but loyalty to your hometown is rare nowadays
