i've not had a proper injury yet, but know what you mean about the mental battle. there is a rooty section i ride which threw me off, and i cant shake that thought everytime i go over it! it's a mental game sometimes isn't it! glad your getting back on it though
Solid runs my friend! In spite of the mental battle going on, it’s great to see you pressing on at the right pace for yourself. Those trails looked sketchy and definitely steep. Keep moving forward! ✌🏼🤟🏼

Man I’ve been back riding a few months now and while my shoulder is about 60% my confidence is 0% . Just riding mate . You just have to ride . Drops I used to love I’m scared of , rock sections I used to go way too fast on I now walk…. I think it will come back as blokes like us are passionate and MTB is a huge part of our lives …. Just stop riding gnar like this for a while hahaha … I’m here with ya brother

Those trails looks so awesome!! I'm kinda in that mental spot right now as well, been riding lack luster of late, I'm hoping this weekends riding will get me out of my funk!! How do you like those "bendy bars"? Worth the price?
yeah dude. the mental funk is real. l have pins in my right elbow so l really struggle with arm pain, so l went for the bendys to try and alleviate some off that. They seem to help a lot, anything that keeps me riding longer is a win for me.
@@trailsfromthedarkside6460 I hear you on the pain. Cool man, I'm interested in those for sure. Might have to pick up a pair over the winter for my DH rig.
@@RickyDownhillRDH l think they’d be pretty sweet on a DH rig. They come with 3 different elastomers that can be changed for compression and rebound. With the ones l use, you can’t feel the bars move unless you put your full body weight on them, which is what l wanted, don’t want flexy bars on the turns. Their an American company as well so it’ll be much easier for you to get them than it was to get them here.
@@trailsfromthedarkside6460 Yeah they have a trail bar and a DH bar. I believe the only difference is the interface where the stem clamps the bar is wider to make room for direct mount stems.
