On hoverboard heroes and hyperdrive heroes you don't have to worry about getting 1st plase and still getting gold
It somehow counts it medalwise as a survival and it gives you always gold when you qualify on them, no matter the place
But slime climb and the slimescraper are medalwise race rounds and you have to get first for the gold idk why
