    Lovely place!
Looks like I could easily secure my motorcycle at the bottom using that wooden fence and go the rest of the way on foot...
I'll have to check it out for sure.

    •  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Thank you, I think you could get your bike on the footpath and ride down but yes no problem just leaving the bike secure and walking down to the dam :)

That track reminded me of death road in Bolivia. That looked a nice easy walk for you. Lol. Nice drone shots Shaun. You can almost walk on water. 😀

    •  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Thank you Glyn, that's a good track - some are even worse than that one!!!! Not many times I get to walk on water but Bonnie wasn't doing it!!! Glad you enjoyed the video. Many thanks for watching :)

Awesome looking dam, and thanks hiking all the way to the top of it. And you got some great drone footage of it. Was that your new Mavic Pro? Sorry about that cold weather, we don't often see you sporting the polar tech gear.

    •  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Thank you Ron, glad you enjoyed the video and worth the hike to the top! Yeh still cold but have had some lovely weather, even in my t-shirt! Yes my Mavic Pro but not my Mini yet. Glad you enjoyed the video. Many thanks fro watching :)

If I understood you correctly, this dam isn't being used for electricity generation.? Too bad, I wonder why all the precious energy isn't being tapped.! Bonnie is a smart doggie, she wasn't going to set paw on that platform.! The area is very inviting. The road there, though, could use some paving. Thanks for another superb video, Shaun.!

    •  4 ปีที่แล้ว

Thank you Juan, very true as most dams here do generate electricity! Bonnie is one smart doggie and you can tell who the boss is when out exploring!!!! Glad you enjoyed the video. Many thanks for watching :)

    •  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

Also nearby is the work of Mariano Ros, El Cau, a stonemason who made his own artistic area in the public mountain is in the Ferriol near the dam, a very good area to visit. - Gracias, debo visitar este lugar. Muchas gracias por mirar :)

Another great video buddy. Some spectacular views and great vistas. My only advice to You is you need to get to the gym mate so you can get fitter. Bonnie seems to have the right idea. 😂👍. Look forward to seeing you tonight 👍

How far is it from the dam wall from the car park you started out from as there is no way we would be driving a hire car on that road. The drone shots were amazing,. Looks like it could be a great place for hiking and birdwatching as you said.

    •  4 ปีที่แล้ว

Thank you Fiona, it's about a 30 minute walk from the carpark. Yes you wouldn't want to drive a hire car and the recovery won't collect the car. It's amazing place to hike and glad you enjoyed the video. Many thanks for watching :)

If the roads get any worse, you’ll be needing a Subaru soon.
Any hydroelectric plants on those dams?

    •  4 ปีที่แล้ว

Thank you Rob, wish I had the money to buy one! Not this one but most other dams here use them Rob. Many thanks for watching :)
