I like this activity and the abc bootcamp. I have preschool students. I think I am going to use this for them to count to 20 a little easier. I will use the abc bootcamp as a review during the spring time.
How did you train them to find a seat and not throw a tantrum if someone got "their" spot? My 2nd graders can't even handle this, world war three erupts. The vast majority of them (not just 1 or 2 outliers) have a total fit. Just curious how you introduce at the beginning of the year in a way that prevents conflict. I am teaching kinder next year and plan to do flexible seating and pretty nervous about it. We will have traditional desks (required) but a few other options to choose from for centers and independent work like in this video.
When I was a child in kindergarten (Miane mid 1960's) we could seat any where we wanted to on the carpet - I doin't recall fighting for a space. From first grade (Minae) and from second (Florida) and up - we always had assigned seats so fighting was never a problem. My dad was in the air force so that's why I had educastion in two states. Yes they are well behaved because I am sure Mr. Greg set rules and consequences down very early in kindergarten.
I'd love to be a kindergartener again in Mr. Greg's class as he makes kindergarten learning FUN
It's incredible to me how big this classroom is!

Love your videos, great ideas!!! Thank you
Good job👏🏾
I love how disciplined the kids are! How long does a number boot camp take? One day two days?
thanks a million.
I love this activity
