I was there in late February . The dives were significantly better than Samui / Koh Tao. There is a new dive operation along that main street warf area "Nice Dive ". New gear , great high speed 500 hp catamaran. Kicks the crap out of the slow boat competition
I would love to head back to there for another visit. The diving’s def better than Tao. I’m making notes cus I’ll be back in the area next year. Thanks so much for the alpha.
Great video ! Two questions : Can someone with zero experience book the same as you guys did over there (contact link of the guide please) Secondly, which of the cute things appearing in the video can bite you if you come close ?
@@epos_rising Hey, thanks for the questions. You can book a discovery dive with the dive shops there; I used Blue Planet during my visit, blueplanetdivers.net. Trigger fishes are the scariest cuties of sea😅. They are super territorial and will attack you first. I hope you have a great time when you visit
@@getlosttravelin Thanks a lot for replying! we are staying in krabi near Ao nang beach. which island would you recommend for one day/half day dive? we dont mind 1-2 hour of traveling to reach the spot.
Most of the diving in that area is good from late Oct or Nov on. Phi Phi Island has pretty good diving; they got black tip and leopard sharks and turtles. There’s also Hin Daeng and Hin Muang, these two spots are usually done together. There’s mantas, black tip sharks, and whale sharks if your lucky (I didn’t see any when I dove there a few years ago, from Koh Lanta).

Thanks for sharing this video! What dive company did you dive with? No luck to see the manta rays?

Would be helpful with information on the dive company. Looks like messy logistics at the dock. Climbing over other dive boats
That was a crazy logistical stuff. I’ll keep that in mind and update the description. Sorry for the delay response. Been busy with IRL stuff.
Do they have a one day dive program, as we are tight on budget plus time
Most divers are one day. But there’s normally 2 or 3 dives in that day of diving. Some shops do a half day program and they cost less.
