This is so good to see Marty’s wife. Marty was one of my favorites. I believe everything Marty said. Marty didn’t sugar coat like Charlie and Joe. Marty told it like it was and I respect that about Marty.
Marty was really the Truth !!!! your correct he didn't BS anyone. Also Marty was Best Man w/ Esposito ( who I don;t think was the real deal = too close to Parker and Money
Billy and Jo have often mentioned that they were best friends with your folks ☺️ friends for a lifetime are rare and wonderful! Great video your mom is a sweet lady!
Oh Sheri, this was wonderful!! She was so funny when she talked about the bus leaving out of Graceland!! What a gem of a lady!! You look so much like her in the eyes!! Thank you for sharing this treasured moment my friend!! 💕 🙏
Oh, bless her, you can tell it was not easy for her, thank you❤. How lovely, and she reminds me so much of my own mother 😥 who passed in 2017. May they all rest in peace ... and know how much we love and miss them ...
I'm glad I got to see this interview ❤ Your mom had a priceless life. I love hearing older people tell stories of their lives especially one's wiho were close to Elvis. If i could go back in time I'd go back to when Elvis was healthy & seemed happy.
Great video! I’m a newbie learning all about the early days of Elvis and the lifestyle of his Memphis mafia…but I do wanna hear the rest of the train story w Priscilla going to Knoxville Tn. Your mom refused to talk about it! 😊
Wonderful interview. I still have my paperback "Portrait of a Friend." The Beatles visited Elvis in '65, on their second US tour. Elvis was filming "Paradise Hawaiian Style" at the time.
Beautiful memories! Thankyou so much for sharing! I love your videos. God bless you and your family. Have a wonderful day. Love from Cleveland Tennessee.
That was a great video. I know it means alot to you interviewing her. Good memories for you guys!! I liked how it ended her saying Elvis said he was a rich sob!!
Liked Marty a lot. A real mensch. He had severe moral standards and expected a lot, but he walked the walk. Wish Elvis had let Marty manage him. Solid guy and a real friend
@Sheri Lacker, great video ! Did your Momma Patsy and Jo keep their friendship going, did they still get together ? Did your Parents keep any gifts they got from Elvis and did they or you now from inheritance still have them ? Would love a video on that and if you know the story behind the gifts. Hope you do more video’s soon, I love your videos !
My Mama and Jo were best friends until the day she died. Billy was my Daddys best friend till the day Daddy died. Jo and Billy are still in our lives and always will be they are our family. I will let Sheri discuss gifts in her videos. We know the stories behind the gifts, we were all teens when Elvis died.
Somehow I missed the first one and would love to see it but it's not listed on the videos. I really liked your daddy, because he always told Elvis the truth and not just what he wanted to hear. I know Elvis really respected him for that. Seems like he and Billy were the only ones that kept him grounded.(as much as anybody could) Your videos are a treasure! Thank you so so much!
