I ghost hunt commonly and I can assure you, you should've stayed in those empty codes. They dont pop up on the leaderboard. Now these aren't actual ghosts on VR or something, they're hackers . Sometimes if you're lucky its programmed AI but that's insanley rare. I recommend mountains. My friend was ghost hunting with me and when I was AFK he got IP banned for 4 hrs

ive hunted over 10 ghosts and i found atleast 1 real one because there was a barrier where u cant enter cave it will always kick u even if the bot left

Ghost1 takes an hour or two but it will be scary after that because there is a chance of a random ghost my first experience was with a bot named taken and all of the other players were gone but then another encounter was with someone with a crooked head and he had long arms and kicked me

So the only way to change a game mode is either mods or everyone leaving and rejoining on a different selected game mode!
