Addie LaRue is definitely a slower pace but it does get more interesting, more romance, some plot twists, etc. I think her journey through time is really interesting. but it took a little while for it all to get there. I really enjoyed and would reread.

“Nightfall” is a middle grade book and maybe better for Halloween time but it was seriously so good! And just the right amount of scary to keep you invested. It’s been years since I’ve read it but I still think about it from time to time
I have that rest deck and I’ve been using it for a few months now. It’s definitely helped me unlearn so much about having to be constantly “productive” and the need for rest. Also if you have a library card you can get a ton of ebooks and audiobooks for free through public libraries. I ended up canceling my Audible subscription because I was able to get all the audiobooks through my library

I really enjoyed The Night Circus, but it's definitely a "no plot, just vibes" kinda book, with some lovely descriptions/language, but not a lot going on. And I cared about the side characters way more than the main couple, who had very little chemistry in my opinion.
Yeah the first half was good but then like… the second half was a let down😢

For the candles, just use tea light candles in different colors, light them, and use them as little paint pots! Even better if you have a wax warmer instead of lighting them!

I would say skip anything by Emily McIntyre. Her books are DARK. I had to stop reading Hooked on like chapter 3 because he was fantasising about sexually assaulting a woman on top of her father's dead body 🤢. If that's the start of the book I don't need to know where it goes.

Hi Kennedy, I live for your videos. They bring me so much joy and happiness and peace. This might be a weird and off question, but do you think in a next video where you answer questions or chit chat with us, you can talk to us about how you find contentment and joy in the smallest things? I struggle with feeling a sense of peace in the day to day between working a fulltime job and also running my own business. I often find myself envious of others and want to prioritize time for fun joyful activities like what you do on your channel, but there just never seems to be enough time in the day and the stressors of life take over any enjoyment I was hoping to achieve. Hoping I am not alone in this feeling, and truly look forward to your videos when they are posted. Feels like I am right beside you and having girl time. I feel like one of the few who didn’t like Addie Larue. It was okay. But I don’t understand the hype behind it’s popularity. I feel like it had so much potential but didn’t live up to it. Addie as a character was boring to me. 🤷♀️
Maybe give Addie LaRue another try? It is slow in the beginning, but the romance and intrigue start to pick up starting in chapter VI.
