I am currently a SAP ABAP Consultant with 3.6 years of experience in SAP development. In the past, I worked with technologies like Java and .NET.
I am contemplating a shift to a business analyst/functional role within the SAP domain. Coding hasn't been my strong suit, and amid personal challenges, including the loss of my aunt to cancer, I find it increasingly difficult to do justice to coding.

To become SAP Functional consultant domain exp is required , But as you are interested for functional module , I will suggest you may check SAP Logistic module particularly , procurement module in S4 HANA

Hi sir. I'm working as a senior finance specialist where i use SAP FICO and QuickBooks amd Yardi tools. Now I'm interested to move IT side and learning SAP FICO in depth to become SAP consultant. How can I convince interviewers that they can offer me consultant role. Also, I'm getting decent salary 10 to 14 lpa being senior finance specialist but will they be ready to offer more than that if I join as a consultant?

Hi , when you will go for SAP consulting ,you need to have End to end knowledge from project implementation point of view so that you can handle any project & deliver all the Business Process . Consulting Salary is much more what you have mentioned

You can learn SAP FICO Business process on S4 HANA -Business suit. No need to go with old technology ( ECC)
