When Serena had a baby, came back and lost the final in Wimbledon (one she should have won) we finally started seeing time, not playing much, not the belief we once saw time and time again and of course a baby catch up with her. Naomi banked on that and it thrusted her into the spotlight. Also at Serena’s age and during that time we haven’t really seen that much of a great power player and great server like Serena (but without the mental edge Serena had) so I’m sure Serena at her age was frustrated to deal with that.
