I like the way some people are upset you didn't use a real kid-but then they would probably accuse you of exploiting a kid or not respecting their privacy if you did! This video was great, thank you for doing this challenge!
Hey there, parents of a 3 year old daughter here. We appreciated the courteousness and awareness it took to make this video. We've had a our share of both good and bad days in the parks when dealing with an infant/toddler. Great video!
As a mom of two grown kids I remember every single one of these disasters and have never laughed so hard at a video. Completely accurate and great memories (in retrospect)🤣🤣
My best tip for older children, that are no longer stroller age, is to get them (and you) in walking shape before you go. I start about 90 days before our trip. Start slow and make it fun. My girls complained a little at the start, but they did amazing on the trip and did not complain about not being able to walk. Of course you will still have tired legs and sore feet, but the endurance will be there. Also, bring blister bandaids and ask/check their feet for hot spots. Sometimes they do not say anything until it’s painful. And bring more than one pair of shoes and switch them throughout the day or each day. This is a great tip for everyone.
It was painful for sure. The plush is only a few years older than I am. So I’m probably the same age or older than Emma’s mom. This is not the reality I come to AE for. 😳
As someone who loves both Universal and Disney, and recently became a father (my son turned 8 months on 6/10), I found this video both hysterical & helpful.
Another good series would be on visiting the parks with multiple elementary and high school aged kids. They sleep very late, pick fights with each other in line, and argue in restaurants. But they make the parks very fun and memorable.
Looking forward to this!! I'll let you borrow my 4 kids to see how it's done 🤣 one in a stroller, one walking too far ahead, one walking behind me stepping on the back of my feet, and the other trying to zig zag between all of us LOL I love Disney but I can't lie, it's a struggle
The way yall had ti go to 2 lunches and were halfway through the day without making it to a ride hit me right in the feels because it never fails! Luckily as time has gone on, we've visited enough times that we don't feel the rush to do it all in a day anymore. But for people it's their one and only trip for a good while if ever thats a huge challenge!
I was able to go with my daughter when she was 3. During the trip, I kept thinking "this would be so fun if she was older," and planned then to take her back when she was 12. Perfect age to go. Old enough to do everything and young enough to still want to spend lots of time with you.😅
This is such a great video! My Husband and I were laughing when the Mac and cheese message came through that Mortimer now wanted other food. 😂 This was too funny as we just took our 15 month old to Disney a few weeks back. This was all great tips! Great job Emma and Quincy!!! Cannot stress enough how important a stroller cover is! It was a total necessity! And yes to Cheerios!! 😄
This is one of my favorite videos that y’all have ever done. I laughed so hard! Also, I really appreciate you enduring the embarrassment of pretending a Mickey doll is your child rather than putting a real child who isn’t your kid in your video. It’s a good, safe practice, plus it’s a lot funnier! 😂
I would LOVE to see little Mortimer return for more videos... Maybe a tour of different parks with rides with no or low height requirements (toddler/baby friendly rides). Those could be fun!! Would love to see how he likes rides since he was being so difficult in this one! :)
Emma just putting the doll on the toilet paper at the beginning just had me laughing so hard. The fake fights between you that are basically how real couple fights go, Quincy eating all of the Cheerios is the most dad thing you can do. Fun video, glad you finally did this as a lot of us have been asking, credit to you for finding a way to do it as we know it isn't easy. I know several of us, me included, have mentioned doing a video in regards to those with disabilities, we know it would be a lot more difficult as the range of disabilities is quite varied, the discussion is also not always easy. If you try a video such as that, might be better to have it more of a narration type video but cudos to the team for taking this on, making it fun, and getting creative with it.
I loved every second of this video, but the best part was definitely the moment of panic before getting out of the car with how embarrassing what you were about to do is 😂
Congratulations Sage! "Mortimer loves a boat ride, just like his dad." "Mortimer sit up, for once.... He's making a scene" Ha! The first visit button is perfection. We have been bringing our daughter since she was 8 months old. You could have totally borrowed her. We trust you. She had her first haircut at Harmony Barber Shop and its still one of my favorite Disney memories. She had stars in her eyes the first time she met Belle. She was just mesmerized! Belle's eyes were like rainbows. Chef Mickey's was amazing--it was the first dinner in years where we could sit and eat in peace while my daughter was happily entertained by the fab 5. She was clapping for all the characters and reaching for them. So magical! Barnstormer was her first coaster and she's not even two. She's tall for her age. Our little girl knows what Disney is, and she's obsessed. Can't wait to bring our new baby due in October. As soon as she's old enough to travel, we're bringing her too. We want to raise our kids on Disney. Its wholesome and fun for all of us, and we're making great memories. So glad we didn't wait until they were older to start coming! My kids love to watch ride videos and fireworks when we're at home, so we can reconnect with our happy times at Disney all year long. Oh, and we love rider swap! It work great and our older son gets to do a lot of rides twice in a row.
Our biggest meltdown at disney world was when my son lost his shoulder Figment. It fell out of the stroller somewhere around dumbo and we went to the lost and found and nobody ever turned him in. He cried about it all night and we even have video footage of other people glaring at us. He cried intermittently about it for the remainder of the trip and we had no way of purchasing a new one because it was only available at Epcot which was our first day there and we couldn’t get back into that park without buying another ticket which we were absolutely not going to do. My husband found one on EBay when my son wouldn’t stop bringing up how devastated he was that his Figment was lost. He was overjoyed for about 10 minutes and then forgot about him and started playing with his other toys.
Quincy made multiple comments about breastfeeding--it being challenging to find a spot, that there are nursing rooms in the baby care center--HOWEVER, I believe that is still is FL state law that a woman is allowed to breastfeed ANYWHERE she is legally allowed to be present. I think that would have been a very helpful piece of information (I was told that as a cast member as a response to anyone who might complain about public breastfeeding).
I certainly did. But I also had tulip tops that lightly draped to give a bit of privacy. Never had anyone mention it. Of course I definitely preferred the baby center though!
The toddler texts were completely accurate- I’ve experienced every one. The only thing I’d add is that they have a complete meltdown if you skip afternoon nap or go to bed late. We went back to the hotel for a mid-day break to avoid this- it was 100% worth it!
For parents wanting a stroller that folds up with one hand, I suggest the brand Bombi gear. It's made with recycled water bottles, looks really nice and is much cheaper than other lightweight one hand foldable strollers! Plus, lots of people say they are perfect for Disney!
Dont underestimate a stroller need for your older kiddos...we used a stroller for my older child until she was 8 and dont regret it! It was not only a great respite for her feet, but also a great rain hideout and when dealing with large crowds i knew both my girls were safe and sound in the stroller as we went with the crowd flow
This was AMAZING. So funny, but also full of relatable and helpful information. Major props for overcoming your embarrassment and commting. I don't think I could be brave enough.
When my 12-year-old son comes home from school today, I’m going to thank him for being an incredibly easy 5-year-old! He was never a picky eater, never needed a nap, and super rarely was a behavior issue. Phew! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
THIS IS LITERALLY THE FUNNIEST VIDEO I HAVE SEEN IN AGES. I AM A PARENT AND THIS MAKES PARENTS FEEL LIKE THEY ARE DOING AN OK JOB TOO. SO FUNNY. WELL DONE GIRLS. W E L L D O N E.
Learn from my first trip years ago and dont use a poncho for a stroller cover. It came a downpour during a show and when it pooled on the poncho, it wasnt strong enough to hold and it dumped the seat through the arm holes.
I know it's a representative video, but dang. If I had a child that I had spent 100s of $$ to get me, my wife, and him to go to Disney world and all I got out of it was a ride at tomorrowland speedway, and a mealntha they threw a tantrum at, it would be a long time before I'd consider bringing them again....
I found this video so entertaining, and pretty realistic! Having to pivot whenever your baby's needs don't align with your plans is something that all parents have to learn and especially parents taking their kids to Disney. Thanks for the information and the laughs!!
Mortimer being too scared after waiting in line for a ride is exactly my 5 year old son. And it happened in toon town at Disneyland. That was all too relatable.
This was a hilarious video. Loved the mom and dad dynamic. It was spot on. We didn't take our twins to Disney until they were 5. It was a great age to go for the first time. Even though our kids were older, we heavily relied on strollers for the first few trips. On our 3rd trip to WDW, every single one of us got sick at some point. There was a lot of shuffling of plans, taking kids and parents to Urgent Care and resting at the condo. We still had a great time because we were flexible and patient. You never know what your Disney vacation will throw at you and I love that the Allears team tries (and succeeds) at showing people that the vacation can still be great no matter what.
I have had the unfortunate experience of a child wandering off, like a tiny ninja, in magic kingdom. From 1st hand experience, cast members are amazing in this situation. Kid found a cast member who was actually able to calmly walk her back to us ( the frantic searching & repeating of said child’s name must have given us away). Kid was fine, happy, didn’t seem to give a rip about the calamity that was happening, and we were happy the situation was resolved so quickly ( and mad because we were very scared tbh). that quickly passed and we enjoyed the rest of the evening, while contemplating the purchase of one of those backpacks with an attachable wristband lol.
This was great! My hubby and I totally identified with you both. We first took our daughter when she was 16 months (we’re UK based) and we took my parents along for extra support! It took 4 adults to do WDW with a toddler. Fortunately my parents are DVC members so we had been many times in the past so we were ok with getting nothing done! But we had a blast and my daughter now 9 still remembers things from that first trip!
This video is the best! As a first time mom bringing my one year old was definitely different and you learn to be very flexible. Thanks for all the tips! It really can be enjoyable and taking all the small moments in.
I was right, this is absolutely ridiculous and it’s hilarious and I LOVE IT! 😂😂 (I won’t comment on the accuracy of many of those squabbles Emma and Quincy had, lol.)
A million years ago we brought our son for the first time...he was 5....didn't eat anything but chicken tenders, french fries and milk for 5 days. One place didn't have chicken tenders but they made him a PB&J out of rainbow bread. Not on the menu but they said to ask at any restaurant as they might have this option. The Cast members are so accommodating. Just ask....you never know what they can do for you! They are life savers!!! Love Cast members!!
This video is spot on accurate 😂. My daughter sat down at garden grill with the two girls and us grandparents and cried and cried and cried . She was so sad everyone was melting down and not having fun . We learned a lot that trip . Every trip since has been great but you HAVE to be flexible
This was hilarious!! Loved every second of it. I'm currently pregnant and headed to Disneyland in two months. Would be great if you guys did a video like this all the preggos headed to the parks too!!
The best stroller we had used was the pockit. Was it expensive? Yes. But we used it for more then travel. That thing literally folds up and in a backpack. Best thing for airplane travel, bus travel to the parks, and no need to stroller park/retrieve!
So funny! When my hubby and I took our daughter to galaxy’s edge for the first time, we knew she would love smuggler’s run. We got in the line, but my daughter wasn’t feeling it, however we persisted and spent about an hour in line with our daughter screaming how much she hated us. Got to the front of the line and my hubby and daughter got the pilot roles. First time riding and pilot! My daughter refused to actually pilot meaning my husband did both pilot roles hurting his back in the process due to how much he had to lean over. We left the ride pretty deflated only for our daughter to say she loved it and wanted to ride again! 🤦🏻♀️. She now sulks if she does not get pilot 🤷🏻♀️
I appreciate this video as travelling to WDW with kids is more involved and how much information y'all compiled. Our kids are older, but some of these tips still apply.
The problem with my son (2 at the time) was that he NEVER wanted to sit on the stroller, or held by anyone but me (mom). I had to carry him whole day for 4 days 😂 ETA: bring ziploc bags!!!! Kids don’t finish all meals at the table, but they want them later 😅
You didnt mention our issue with a small child. Half way through the line she had to go to the bathroom. She said anyway... that was her way of telling us she's scared. It was years before she would go on haunted mansion. Now she's grown n loves everything.
On our last trip whether or not I was able to leave my child in the stroller for security was very inconsistent. Some security guards had no issue with him staying in the stroller, but some required me to get him out and walk through security with him. Just a heads up! :) the first time I was asked to take him out I was totally unprepared and had my hands full of other things ready to walk through security.. it was chaotic haha.
My first time at Disney, I was a single mom with a 4 year old. It was chaotic, stressful, but magical. I’m going next month with my husband, 12 year old, 4 year old, and 2 year old. I’m so ready for the chaos this time!
Love the video! As a mom of two under 5, this was still very helpful even though I’ve done it several times. I’m totally here for this content! Thanks for being brave! ❤
This was hilarious. I'd love to see more "parent" videos esp with Quincy and Emma. The cheerio argument was the funniest thing I've seen on a Disney video. Maybe a random wheel to see who's the parent for the day. I'd love to see Rjay and maybe Breedlove tackle being a parent at a park.
I'm loving Quincy's fit! Also, I lucked out in that I only have one child and hes kind of a dream. Hes been traveling and visiting amusement parks all his life so is pretty used to it. Hes also a stroller lover as he has sensory challenges and uses his stroller to decompress and reduce stimulation. I will say though, I'm an uber planner and plan to have most everything he needs on hand on the stroller and i follwed his queues while in the parks. When hes ready to leave, we leave, I dont push his tolerances. Our touring plans have changed as hes aged. And now at 6 hes a real joy to spend time and ride rides with! But DIsney is one of our favorite places because the cast members are so understanding of all different guest comfort levels. This was amazing. Great job ladies!🤣🤣🤣
Lol, this was great. It made me laugh when you first parked the stroller to eat and Emma grabbed Mortimer with one hand and started shaking him, lol, just like a real baby! lol. Also, when you said right in front of him how he'll ruin every photo because he won't smile, now his feelings are hurt. lol. You're so right, Cheerios are a staple to feed babies, that or a Monte Cristo sandwich. I hope you can do it again in different parks and with a family of 3 or 4. That would be cool. Thanks for sharing, this one was so awesome. BTW, I like how Kermit had little booties. 😊
I’m enjoying this thoroughly!!! I remember taking a young child to WDW. It’s not without its challenges. I know this was embarrassing, ladies, but at least it wasn’t one of those baby dolls that cries or whatever.
I have two daughters 11 months apart and have been taking them Since they were 3 and 4…(they are 17 and 18 now 😭)They were amazing every time. I think the worst part for us was height requirements. My girls were tiny and took a long time to be able to ride a lot.
LOL!!! I just got to the part about the non-smiling baby... my second born would not smile for any character meet... or when we went to bibbity bobbity boutique. As a 3 year old she had the death stare down pat.
Three words - Zip Lock Bags. bring snacks in Zip Lock Bags so you can bring plenty of snacks, even for mom and dad, Quincy! They also keep snacks for multiple days.
Also, you can find pads and tampons at the baby care center. You know because it wouldn't be a real vacation if you didn't unexpectedly need those several days earlier than expected 🙄
You guys really captured the embarrassment and struggle of new parents on their first trip to Disney . You guys awkwardly folding up the stroller for the tram was literally our same selves with a weird stroller . Same when we went with a 4yo and a baby to Disneyland Paris. Those times u girls felt silly we’re ALL OF US new parents with a screaming kid. It’s soooooo hard! this is way more on point than you think
Too funny. I took my son the first time when he was just shy of 3, single mom. Thankfully, no melt downs but dirty clothes and naps. I found the monorail was great for a cranky kid, he would fall asleep almost immediately. The same son and his SO and myself took his 5 month old daughter for the first time (she has already been again at 13 months and will go again at 2 1/2 years old, what can I say Disney family) and it was an eye opener for my son. We took her in Sept. and it was hot and it rained every day. Another tip, not only have a stroller cover and cover the stroller even if it's a sunny day when you park it but have a poncho or something for the child. They have to get out of the stroller at some point and I've seen so many parents doing what Emma did or just letting the poor kid get wet. And a fan for the stroller. And don't leave valuables in the stroller when you park it or food in the bottom, the squirrels really like cheerios.
24:34 just an observation, you talked about how Disney strollers look alike. When you were on your way to Philharmagic (sp) and talking about shows with kids, you passed a dinosaur stroller exactly like yours on the right, sooo…. Not just Disney strollers need to be marked with something unique.
I wondered off when I was younger, and, according to my dad, the Cast Members did an excellent job locating me. If it does happen, they'll probably tell you to stay there and wait until they can direct you where to go. I went to Mr. Toad's Wild Ride btw.
Best video I have seen so far! Although I’m not a dad myself, I really enjoyed this vid! Your videos and DFB vids have been very helpful in my recent Disney World trip. Guess I’m having a hangover as I’m still watching DW vids. Will definitely come back again.
I don’t have kids but holy cow was this video the BEST I literally laughed out loud so hard at Emma and Quincy fighting as parents. This was too real great job 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
That was great, do more of these baby episodes please! One more piece of mom advice: beware the horrific sunburns on babies! A few months ago I saw a beet red baby in a stroller in Tomorrowland. His shorts had scooted up and I could see the vibrant line of red sunburn and pale white skin. It made me feel sick just looking at the poor baby.
23:25 My mum used to ALWAYS quote the "I don't think I LIKE that" commercial to me. This was me. Down to the obsession with cherrios which I still have.
Emma, thank you for not fake breast-feeding Mortimer at the Baby Care Center. I've seen some crazy things at Disney World, but that just may have taken the cake! 😂😂
Love this video so far!!! Last year we had our first trip as parents and our first trip in over 8 years and were using a double bob that was provided at our condo. Loading on to the Tram with such a large stroller was the most stressful and frustrating thing at disney and at a theme park. I did not know that you had the option to walk to the TTC. So if you are a parent and going to disney reminder!!! It may be easier to just walk then take the Tram.
When we went to Disney, my son, who is 11, has special needs and been seeing doctors his entire life. He was so excited to meet Doc McStuffins and freaked out. He had a panic attack meeting her.
Mortimer is a demon child, not liking corn dog nuggets. I don’t have kids, but this was a great video to watch and I’m sure it’ll be helpful for all the real parents out there.
LOL, I have so much to say! This was a fun video to watch as a mom of 4 and pretty relatable! First, I wondered why I didn't see this first episode when the new one came out today and it's because I was boarding the Disney Magic when this one premiered! Also, as a huge breastfeeding advocate for anyone that wants to, I feel compelled to share that having a beautiful space to nurse such as the baby care center is lovely, HOWEVER, it's also ok to breastfeed wherever you would like. It is protected by Florida law as well! I distinctly remember not having the stamina to walk to the babycare center in Hollywood Studios and popped a squat leaning against Buzz or something else in Toy Story land and nursing right there. Did the same in Galaxy's Edge. Also, a very favorite memory is the ride photo I have of my 1yo nursing on Pirates of the Caribbean because they absolutely hated every single ride. Breastfeed wherever you need to! The only comfort you need to be concerned about is yours and your baby's!
I can already tell this is the type of unhinged content I’m looking for.
This is just hilarious. Give you major props for getting past your embarrassment and fully committing 😂
I like the way some people are upset you didn't use a real kid-but then they would probably accuse you of exploiting a kid or not respecting their privacy if you did! This video was great, thank you for doing this challenge!
Love this! ❤ Video suggestion - go with all the AllEars crew and show how to do a Disney day as a big group!

The eating situation was 100% accurate. I’ve eaten so many kids meals they didn’t “like”. 😂
Keeping them fed and hydrated. It was the key when my daughters were little… And it’s the same now that they are 13 and 14!

If it was Roger Rabbit, that’s so understandable! The line is pretty intense not to mention the ride!
Now let's see a "perfect" day with the kids! You know to see how magical it can possibly be too
This was a hilarious video.
You two are incredible! Props for doing this and dropping the great tips for all the parentals !
First congrats Sage. Second cheers for finding a way to do this video without putting kids on camera.
THANK YOU FOR FACING THE EMBARRASSMENT!!!! 🤭🤣😂
I appreciate this video as travelling to WDW with kids is more involved and how much information y'all compiled. Our kids are older, but some of these tips still apply.
The problem with my son (2 at the time) was that he NEVER wanted to sit on the stroller, or held by anyone but me (mom). I had to carry him whole day for 4 days 😂
ETA: bring ziploc bags!!!! Kids don’t finish all meals at the table, but they want them later 😅
I have no children and will never have children but this video is completely awesome! Thanks both of you. 😂
You didnt mention our issue with a small child. Half way through the line she had to go to the bathroom. She said anyway... that was her way of telling us she's scared. It was years before she would go on haunted mansion. Now she's grown n loves everything.
Fantastic video! Loaded with great IRL tips! Sharing with my friends who have kids! Kudos!
This is so funny, you two are a hoot! As a parent about to take my toddler, I appreciate you helping me have a sense of humor about it!
Love the video! As a mom of two under 5, this was still very helpful even though I’ve done it several times. I’m totally here for this content! Thanks for being brave! ❤
We just did Disney with my twin 4 year olds and 1 year old. It was magical!! Take breaks and know you can’t do it all!
Oh .. and congrats to Sage!
Just yesterday I was wondering where Sage was. New baby would keep you busy.
You guys probably thought this was silly and unrealistic at many points during this video. As a father of two, I can assure you, it was spot on.
I have two daughters 11 months apart and have been taking them
Since they were 3 and 4…(they are 17 and 18 now 😭)They were amazing every time. I think the worst part for us was height requirements. My girls were tiny and took a long time to be able to ride a lot.
This. Is. Interesting. 😅
Quincy's Disney bound outfit is cute.
LOL!!! I just got to the part about the non-smiling baby... my second born would not smile for any character meet... or when we went to bibbity bobbity boutique. As a 3 year old she had the death stare down pat.
An Ergo baby carrier saved our lives for carrying baby thru line . We all took turns and it helped so much
Three words - Zip Lock Bags. bring snacks in Zip Lock Bags so you can bring plenty of snacks, even for mom and dad, Quincy!
Q - you’re the best dad ever for bringing the Cheerios and then very dad like on eating the rest. One of my favorite videos EVER!! Well done team!
I love this video! I’m not sure about Disney World, but Disneyland has baby cereal puffs in the vending machine. 👍🏼
Make sure the child has a head covering. That sun can get pretty nasty. And hydration. Always hydration for everyone at the park.
Baggies. Bring baggies for snacks/food that may not get finished and need to be saved for later. And wipes for sticky fingers.
Even though we are far beyond the baby or small child stage I greatly enjoyed this video 😂
I died when they pulled a fully unfolded stroller from the backseat 🤣🤣🤣🤦🏾♀️
I wish we as adults had strollers. That creepy voice for Cynthia is a hoot
My favorite yet! I’m laughing so much!! NEED MORE MORTIMER!!!!!
This was hilarious! I want to see these type of videos again.
23:25 My mum used to ALWAYS quote the "I don't think I LIKE that" commercial to me. This was me. Down to the obsession with cherrios which I still have.
This is the cutest video. I love Quincy and Emma!
Emma, thank you for not fake breast-feeding Mortimer at the Baby Care Center. I've seen some crazy things at Disney World, but that just may have taken the cake! 😂😂
😂
Love this video so far!!! Last year we had our first trip as parents and our first trip in over 8 years and were using a double bob that was provided at our condo.
Loading on to the Tram with such a large stroller was the most stressful and frustrating thing at disney and at a theme park. I did not know that you had the option to walk to the TTC. So if you are a parent and going to disney reminder!!! It may be easier to just walk then take the Tram.
More of Emma & Quincy Parenting! Maybe an episode for each park? 🤞😃
Mortimer is one high maintenance baby. LOL! And Dads...never eat the kids snacks. What a fun video!
I introduced my 3 to a cast member and she was really sweet. We explained that they need to look for the name badge.
When we went to Disney, my son, who is 11, has special needs and been seeing doctors his entire life. He was so excited to meet Doc McStuffins and freaked out. He had a panic attack meeting her.
This was funny and had gold tips. The one thing it didn't have was special moments that make you tear up and make all stressful moments worth it!
Mortimer is a demon child, not liking corn dog nuggets. I don’t have kids, but this was a great video to watch and I’m sure it’ll be helpful for all the real parents out there.
This is the best video. I had to stop it laughing and ran to my husband because we had the exact Cherio situation!!!
I apparently insisted on having a stroller at Disney World until I was 10 or 11 and I still get teased by my family about it!
