What always staggers me is that police ALWAYS show up for a man with a camera, but if you get burglarised or assaulted, or your car or property get stolen, you know, actual crimes, they are nowhere to be seen.
Jane I am 56 disabled and have COPD and I was assaulted by a bodybuilder who kicked his car door in my face and I lost two teeth a couple of weeks ago and I reported it to Hastings police police who haven't even done anything yet I had witnesses and I find out the prat who assaulted me lives in the pub opposite my house

Because man with a camera is easy to intimidate/threaten so they can flex thier bullying skills (probably have a score sheet) anything else is real hard work (running/investigating) so nope ...
I've always told people not to talk to the police because they only want to use what you say against you. Thank you for showing this to be right.

It's sad how they say "I have to call the police". They are implying that the behavior of the cameraman forces them to do something while in fact it's their ignorance that makes them do it.
Anyone that calls 999 for a Police emergency just to report a man with a camera should be arrested for wasting Police time.

I can't imagine being in work , seeing someone filming or taking photos and going over to ask what they're doing. Especially not asking them to stop and double especially not phoning the police.
