i graduated in 1999 and remember hearing this song on rock 106.9 out of canton ohio on a sat night metal show and the rest is history. this song got me off country into rock...still my favorite song just because it broke my cherry
I also graduated in 99 in the Canton area...small world.
Ha! I remember the Saturday night metal show on Rock 107. I heard something from W.F.O. in 94/95 and that's what got me started on OverKill.

It was always the big four that got 80% of the fame..some much equally great bands toured with them and bought out some mega metal..I used to love voi vod. Until their awful experiment stage ..OVERKILL have always stayed consistant .album after album .metal all the way..R.I.P .All the guitarists we have lost in the year 2023 ..that's a hell of a concert playing somewhere 😊.

This is the album where they took their groove metal sound of the 90's to it's logical conclusion. The result is one of the most merciless and bludgeoning offerings of metal ever unleashed. Just absolutely stomped into pulp what Metallica and Megadeth were doing at the time.

I guess I am the first to notice, but the opening riff sounds like the opening riff of 'fire in the sky' by saxon on bass. I have noticed probably because I have covered both the songs on bass on my channel. Love them both \m/

Overkill hands down my fav metal band for many years. One of The only thrash bands that didn't sell out and is just as heavy. Love these guys!

@@michelbernardo6087 Je vais les écouter le plus vite possible, mais j'aime l'idée de mener une vie "conventionnelle" tout en écoutant les musiques les plus folles ou extrêmes. Je me demande si certains metalleux habillés de pied en cape se douteraient que j'écoute la même musique qu'eux, par exemple.
