- Highlights from one of Florida State's biggest wins over Miami. It was the first time Miami had been shutout since 1979. The 47-0 beat down in Tallahassee, was the first time the Noles shut the Canes out since 1964 & they haven't done it again since.

I'm a Miami fan and it really is better for college football and the state of Florida (regarding recruiting) when both us and Florida State are dominating. Florida State used to kill quarterbacks as seen here and against Florida (ask Danny Wuerffel).

Thad Busby was one of the most underrated QB's we've ever had with Chris Rix being the other one.
The difference is Thad knew his limitations as were Ric was stuck on stupid making the exact same mistakes for 4 years and would either take your breath away , or make you rip your hair out! Hes a prime example of how ability only takes you so far. Sorta a white version of Vick with in the context of white athelesism

@@pslim68 That season was the reason the Pac 10 ( as it was at the time ) decided to add in the stipulation their champion could skip the Rose Bowl if it landed them in a National Championship match up. It should have been FSU vs ASU in 96'.
