Wood will get rot due to wet vessels and if using on dining table and dust gets accumulated u cannot wash them as u could like steel organizers.eventually they will become dirty and u won't b able to use it .same goes for bamboo wall hanging organizers.

Try washing in a quick cycle if it is not dirty much and a cold wash
