7 v 7 Positioning: STRIKER (offense)

This video should help our Striker know where they need to be when we have the ball and what options they have once they get the ball themselves.

1. answer: (high up the field, usually level with the last defender and centrally)
2. answer: (down the line, or checking straight back toward the ball)
3. answer: by the positioning of the defender on the player with the ball, if the line is open then make the run down the line, of the middle is open then check straight back to the ball.
4. answer: go straight to goal if you are past the defense, turn and switch the field, a give go with the player who played you the ball, dump pass to center mid or defender.
