Every month, we eagerly anticipate the arrival of our beloved family members - Dad, Mum, my brother, my sisters, nieces, and nephews. It's a special time when generations come together, and the bond we share grows even stronger.
Butterfly Brand Magic

Dad's BBQ Brilliance
Our family gatherings wouldn't be complete without Dad-in-law's BBQ skills. He's a true master of the grill, and the aroma of his perfectly roasted meat always gets everyone's mouths watering. But there's more to Dad; he's the joker of the family, and his high sense of humor keeps us in splits throughout the day.
A Culinary Extravaganza
On the menu for this special day, we have a delightful spread - Rice Pilau, rich and hearty Beef Stew, Ndengu that's bursting with flavors, Popcorns to keep the little ones entertained, Corn Maize for that touch of tradition, and, of course, Nyama Choma that's grilled to perfection.
A Culinary Collaboration
In our family, cooking isn't just about one person. It's a collaborative effort. Kamata, my husband's brother, generously brought the meat, while my sister Beatrice contributed her famous beef stew recipe. It's a wonderful way to share our culinary talents and create cherished memories together.
The Gas Cylinder Mishap
Sometimes, even in the most well-planned gatherings, unexpected things happen. During our cooking session, the gas cylinder unexpectedly ran out. Little did we know, the delivery guy had mistakenly taken the new cylinder to another home. We discovered this when we began to wonder why he was taking so long to return. It was a moment of laughter and a reminder that sometimes, the unexpected adds spice to life.
Camera Shyness and Bubbly Vibes
While the majority of our family members are super bubbly and love being on camera, my Mum-in-law is a bit camera shy. But her presence adds a touch of humility to our gatherings, reminding us that it's the moments that matter most.
Laughter and Joy Overflow

She brought a routine bi weekly where each one of us would bring something (food) then we all would share. We were all from different nationalities. It was a very good way of embracing our cultures.
