Probably about 10mm (1cm), whatever the length needs to be to align the front sprocket to the rear one. I can measure it at my work with the calipers. My next step for this thing is, since it’s so freaking fast with this other motor I had David pennock build for me, it keeps shredding up chains. I was going to buy some 1/4” sheet aluminum or steel and replace those rear frame/engine and gas tank mount plates with these big ass plates of metal, and then do some super custom stuff possibly I might need a lathe for or something, and mount a jack shaft to run like mini bike #40 chain, to make it actually reliable.

That cheap #25 or whatever size Chinese chain is garbage, I used to fool around with electric scooters that would destroy that chain. And if you were lucky and it didn't break it would always stretch out and would literally need to be readjusted everytime you wanted to ride or the chain would get messed up and it would constantly skip and pop. That's another reason why I love the spindle peds, no POS chain to deal with lol.

Yeah another problem I guess I didn’t mention with the sport is when you have g320rc power with a pipe a .8 spindle and 30+ mph the rear tire gets worn unevenly and at about 5 10 mph it’s just this very annoying vibration. I’d imagine it’s not as bad on a Bigfoot or something because of the air tires.

@@rabbitfootedkitty1339 alot of uneven tire wear has to do with the frame bending when you crank down the axle lock, it usually distorts the frame and makes the tire get crooked. If your really patient and careful you can get the tire pretty straight but that usually never happens lol. It would probably be worth cutting out some steel plate and trying to reinforce the sides of the frame, especially if your running those shredped frame extensions, everytime I have seen someone run those the tire is always crooked, it's just not supported well enough.

@@briang4470 No the tire isn’t rotated to the left or right, I can get it straight up and down just fine. It’s like the spindle slipped one spot in the tire, and every time the tire makes a revolution, you feel that and the vibration gets way faster as you go faster.

@@briang4470 Me and my local Goped hoe are talking about having some custom Goped sprockets made for Gopeds. After about 5 minutes of research I think a #35 pitch mini bike/go kart chain should be perfect for a Goped. One guy said that predator 212s do end up eventually destroying #35 chains, so the minimum for those would be like #40 chain, but for a Goped I think #35 should be good. I don’t really want a massive chain either because clearance issues would probably be more likely.
As far as a front sprocket goes my first idea was to cut the gear portion off of an existing sprocket and weld on a new gear to the special threaded part of the stock Goped sprocket. Then I talked to my boss and he said if the Chinese can make those special front sprockets with the threads and everything than surely enough someone with a CNC machine or just standard machinist tools can do it here so no welding haha

@@rabbitfootedkitty1339 hehe, you said "goped hoe", hehehe. Anyways it's totally possible to have someone make you guys some sprockets but it most likely won't be cheap, and most machinist and CNC guys usually want to make 1 large batch of parts because it takes soo much work to set up the machines so if you guys can get on some goped forums and maybe find some other people who would want to purchase those sprockets you guys can probably get them made for a cheaper cost per unit. Also because the sprockets really need to be made of steel instead of aluminum that will make producing them pretty time consuming and probably expensive so just be aware of that.
