@@jimssurvival4994I heard that the Rangers in Mogadishu said that it would take several shots to bring down a skinny, because it just went straight through flesh without expanding, since it's made to penetrate armor.
Geissele trigger quad rail acog with rmr piggy back and back buffalo bore is all based af!!! I would carry a set up with the same theme except I'd have my 16in ar15 and a 10mm with some hard cast for the bears. I might actually use a 308 rifle in bear country although I have read about a bunch of brown bears and a polar bear killed with 556, green tips would probably be better for that as far as penetration. I live at the beach which is cool but I'd love to get to the mountains and go out hiking with my rifle and shit, especially if I got to see snow, kinda jelly.
If you want to feel an ergonomically perfect knife, get your hands on a Manix 2. My manix is one of my favorites, it is often in my pocket, and ALWAYS in my edc bag.
Spyderco is overrated and overpriced; I've carried a CRKT M16-14SF for years, and it's served as a pry bar almost as much as a cutting tool. The only thing I dunt like about it is that the top quillion will catch in my pants pocket when I'm pulling it, causing the blade to open, so I cut it off. The steel is tough as hell and holds an edge pretty well.
I like your rifle. Nothing wrong with a civvie M4gery. Green tips should do okay inside of 140m from a 16". I still think proper hot M193 is better. And it's easy to procure. I used to be into folding knives when I was in the Marines. Spyderco's, Kbars and Benchmade. Then I was allured to fixed blade knives from Busse and their other brands. Swamprat and Scrapyard. Referred to as sharpened pry bars. But I love them. I have in my get somewhere bag a Scrapyard SOD that's been thinned out a bit from Scrapyard and had them put a 20 degree bevel per side. It's made of SR77/S7 tool steel. Tough as nails and only weighs 14 ounces. Also have Scrapmax 340 and 375 in Elmax. 340 is a awesome skinning knife. Big belly on it.
If you are going to reference ‘red dawn’ please refer to the NM version or the WA version. Your Camo is way off from Las Vegas and Hermits Peak NM where the original was filmed.
Drop the revolvers and get a 22lr pistol. Also, you'll need your hatchets, a long range hunting optic with no illumination and an etched reticle in FFP, 3-15×44 minimum, some huge propane canisters that you can insulate from water and rust and bury, thermal vision with some solar panels to recharge it, a halogen tool.
@Protraband Yeah, I heard a story of a grizzly bear attacking and eating an Alaskan marathon runner very recently. If your concern is bears, then up caliber. If you're forced to live out there for safety then you'll be hunting bears..even as you camp..not avoiding them.
Hey PP. We are sleeping in the cabin so obviously there is no sleep system in this pack. Lots of layers included to the point where we were very warm hiking and filming. Knives, each one's purpose is described in the video but you are free to disagree! Thanks for watching.
@@Protraband all very well until the Commies come knocking! If you’re wearing all your layers you’ll overheat when you need to move fast, you need something for when you go firm. Nice rifle though 👍
Probably the most beautiful no bullshit utilitarian rifle set up I’ve seen in a long time
Needs a magpul moe stock and then it would be perfect 😆
The soundtrack alone deserves a sub
Gotta give it up for Hans
😍 camera guy has his priorities right with the adventure dog! So cute!
Also love the saturated colors in this!!
With all those knives you had I thought for sure you were gonna pull out a katana and fucking ninja stars or something. Humor was on point, I subbed.
I've heard green tip sucks. It's my main ammo. If military use something even more penetrating, I'll use my green tip.
Never heard of green tip sucks, I use it and with great results.🤔

All i run is 62 grain green tips and 77 grain OTM.

100% it’s ALL a psyop! Great video
The only Red dawn type situation will come from your own government through the police state.
Anarcho-tyranny doesn't exist!
Spell check can even ... spell... check it!
Chicoms,Cartels, Feds, ANTIFA...there are many possible Red Dawn scenarios likely to occur.

I have one in s110v. Very ergonomic. I wish they made the blade a little longer than the leaf shape. But very nice.

I had a Toor fixed, anaconda. Will have to check out Busse.
Congrats on sub 501!
My guy 🙏

Have most of what you mentioned. However, I am definitely going to hang on to it, as we are 100% in bear country.

Freezing conditions but no warm layers, shelter or sleeping bag? No need for all those knives either.

“If you’re in the woods, you shouldn’t wear camouflage, because you’ll look like a combatant.”

Nothing to do with carrying a rifle. It _must be the clothes_ that marks you as a combatant. 🙃
Time and a place for everything. In "urban survival" video we are in 100% civilian clothes
More like Red Yawn.
Wow. Edgy.
More like borophyll
lose the flag patches in a red dawn situation.straight lines and non natural colors get u killed
Looking for an alternative. Will probably go multicam
I like the rifle set-up. But the rest of the gear is inadequate. You’ll be dead of starvation or exposure before the Russians get to you.
I agree. Long term there is deer and a creek. Not ideal but better than nothing
If that area is your fall back stash a few cashes of food, ammo and socks. Staying on your feet means reliable caloric intake.
