Their sharp and synchronized dancing and solid vocal skills are products of hard work and dedication. According to their Spotify profile, SB19 trained under ShowBT , a Korean entertainment company that branched out in the Philippines. They've gone through three years of rigorous training known to K-pop idols and it clearly shows in their performances. Josh revealed in an iWitness interview that they have nine-hour vocal and dance training every day, with a one-day break per week. For their latest single "Go Up," the group rehearses the choreography 30 times a day, and even have a target of practicing the dance 1,000 times .
*B19 made their smashing comeback in July 2019 with "Go Up." The song was written by the members themselves and was produced by well-known Korean music artist Lee Oh Won . In one of SB19's vlogs , it was revealed that Oh Won has produced songs for TVXQ , Kim Jae Joong , Stray Kids , Wanna One , and Produce 101 . Fun fact: The boys got to record "Go Up" in Seoul !

"Love Goes" was supposed to be SB19 1st Single but ShowBT CEO Tatang Robin chose "Tilaluha" to be SB19 Debut Song, to showcase the group members not only as good dancers but also as good singers.

2018-2019:(Starting year and rise to stardom)Before their debut, most of them trained for at least 2 years in ShowBT Philippines. The company's goal was to produce talented individuals who have the passion and drive to make it in the industry. The group debuted on October 26, 2018, with their first single, Tilaluha. They made their comeback on July 26, 2019, as they released a music video on TH-cam for their second single, Go Up.
Their main goal is to break into the music scene of the Philippines with their 'new and fresh sound'. The group has five members: Ken, Sejun, Stell, Josh, and Justin. They started to achieve mainstream popularity when a dance practice video of their second single "Go Up" went viral on Twitter last September 2, 2019.
On November 14, 2019 the group won their first ever local award as Favorite Group of the Year by the RAWR Awards 5th edition.
The group unveiled its official fan base name, A'TIN (eighteen), on November 2, 2019. In a Facebook Live video, SB19 elaborated on the significance of the fandom name.
SB19 made history on November 20, 2019 as the first Filipino group to land a spot on the Billboard's Next Big Sound Chart. According to the Billboard report, the Next Big Sound chart measures "the fastest growing artists over the past week across all major social music sites that are statistically expected to achieve future success." The chart is calculated by Next Big Sound, an American company that provides online music analysis.
On December 25, SB19 signed contract under the label of Sony Music Philippines.
2019-2020: Mainstream breakthrough
On December 22, 2019, the group embarked on the first leg of their 10-city “Get in the Zone” free concert tour, starting with Negros Occidental and through 2020, on other major cities in the Philippines. Furthermore, it was announced on January 12, 2020 at ASAP Natin 'To that SB19 will be a regular guest for the month of January.
On February 25, 2020, the group once again made a history by being the first Filipino artist to simultaneously chart at three Billboard charts namely Billboard Next Big Sound, Billboard Social 50 & Billboard Emerging Artist.

thank you for posting. I'm so very thankful that they have achieved great success now in 2024 and that they will still go very far. From very humble beginnings and so many trials and hardships, it was definitely not easy. I am so proud of our boys! They triumphed over every adversity put in their way. No one can say that they do not deserve all the blessings that they are given now because these young men sacrificed so much to achieve it and they did it without any compromise to their values and love for God. No hint of scandals, vices, or anything like that. They are so wholesome and are like ambassadors for the youth. Shining examples of what hard work and belief in God can do, and of course the talent!

Ang pagkakaalam ko yung Chinese language sila nahirapan kasi sa Korean andun si Hong Ganda para mgturo ng right pronounciation ng Korean language na kinakanta nila sa matatanda. Kakabisaduhin nila 8 Chinese songs in one week sa Chinese new year events. Dun sila nagbreakdown kasi youtube lang ang nagtuturo sa kanila pa'no kantahin ang mga Chinese songs tapos kakabisaduhin pa nila. Kaya ngayon sikat na sikat sila sa China at Taiwan. I'm frustrated that a foreign company had to invest in the Philippines just so the SB19 can showcase their talent for the whole world to see. I felt like us Filipinos have failed them in that regard. I'm sad and proud for them at the same time. It hurts yet I'm happy for them.

It has been 7 months since I started stanning them and my love for them continues to grow.
