At the end of the game I thought Danilo or some other Forest-guy would get a yellow card for constantly hammering that Hammers-goalie. We sure looks better than teams like Chelsea and Man Utd now, and what a entertaining team we will see next season! If the point deduction don't kill us, we're gonna be way closer to playin in Europe than the Hammers for the years to come. COYR!

The standard of refereeing is hitting new lows with an obvious bias from Premier League refs to denying any and all penalty shouts by a lower league club against higher placed teams. This happens week after week.

VAR showing that it's a waste of time. It was 100% a penalty - and if the VAR assessor cannot see that Nico was stepped on, then they should be sacked, simple as that. As for our performance, it was the best since we returned to the PL.....in-fact it was probably our best PL performance for 27 years !!!! So glad I was there !!! West Ham looked like a Bottom 6 side.
We have to make allowances, VAR didn’t have a camera where we sat, because it was plain as day from there

Nottingham Forest are only allowed a penalty when the opposition bring a baseball bat and batter a Forest player in the box, then VAR may consider a penalty.

Manchester United are allowed penalties whenever they want, and brown envelopes should be given by Manchester United before any game they feel that they need to cheat.

That was a penalty, but i wouldn't called it disgraceful if its not given, because he clearly mistimed his move and wasn't even deliberate, he didn't at all want to touch him, however, I've seen such awarded before, so it's both a right call and a wrong call, but not disgraceful as the commentators say it

I'm very glad it's an irrelevance now, but that penalty decision was a joke and could well have cost us the match. The biggest joke is that it probably doesn't even crack the top 5 stupidest decisions we've seen this season.

The temperament and aggression Forest had in this game was essential for winning the match. It was a bit of a battlefield (not my favorite football style, I mean you got other sports perfect for that,) ...but in lack of gel'in the teamwork (after all the big changes the club been through) I think it's necessary right now. I really want the team to bloom into an elegant, delicate playing style in the future, though.
VAR is now officially a joke! Someone said the ref was angry with VAR for not sending him to the screen as he saw it was a mistake later?

Great game, made them look pretty average to be fair, could and should have been 5 and i think if that defender threw a bucket of hammers at Neco's face in the penalty area, the officials still would have been clueless and still not given anything.

Saturday was a fabulous day for us. We've got players back from injury and afcon and all of a sudden the mood is banging again - well played forest. We can go to Villa and cause them problems. We only have VAR to worry about - another farcical joke of a decision.

There should be a panel of ex professionals in charge of VAR, but at least we took the result out of the refs hands.
It's now about consistency. We do not need to play any better than that to stay up - it's just a case of playing like that most weeks. I'ts no good playing like that and then turning in a Bristol City-type performance at Villa - we would lose. Massive 3 games ahead.

Probably our best performance back in the Prem , literally could have handed West Ham consecutive 6-0 defeats , absolutely battered them . I'm still laughing at how that Penalty didn't get awarded , beyond ridiculous.
The non VAR decisions for the penalty and the disallowed goal (what exactly was wrong with it?) can only lead one to assume that the higher-ups have been told to get Forest relegated if at all possible. It's happened so many times in recent games it can't be an accident. Are they covering themselves against future litigation and appeals by being able to say that "even without the points deduction Forest would have gone down"?

It doesn’t matter wether it intentional or mistimed hand balls are penalties and they are not always intentional and sometimes mistimed, ridiculous statement!

Just because it's an accident doesn't mean it isn't a foul, he treads, intentionally or otherwise on Neco's ankle, which impedes him and stops him continuing forwards and maybe scoring or creating a chance, he's impeded, hence it's a foul and a penalty. If a penalty was awarded against Forest for a similar offence, I wouldn't complain. I can even forgive the ref not giving it but VAR has 5,000 different camera angles and they still make errors week after week
